The bag is authentic.

In 1994, Coach changed the formatting of their serial numbers by assigning numbers that indicated production information and style the style number. Your bag was made prior to 1994 at a time when random serial numbers were used.

Hello! I'm a vintage seller and currently have what I believe to be a late 70s Coach bag for sale on my Etsy. I've sold a few vintage Coach bags before (70s-90s) and have some general knowledge but am by no means an expert. This bag was found at a local thrift store. I couldn't find any other bags that were identical in style to this one and it also has an incredibly faded serial number. The feel of the leather, the stitching, and the brass all read like genuine Coach to me. Any help with authenticating this would be much appreciated!

Measurements:

width - 12”

height - 10”

depth - 4.5”

strap drop - 16.5”, 17” or 17.5”

hi! This is my first post! I was hoping to find out if this coach bag is authentic? The made in China tag is throwing me off, and this used to be my moms about 15 or so years ago. I want to sell it, but I don’t want to get in trouble if it’s a fake bag. (Also my camera is messed up and it won’t focus at all, sorry!)
