Hi authenticators, would you be willing please to have a look at this bag? 🙏 Thanks so much for everything you do here!
PS - I didn’t repost the photos for this one and the second one to spare everyone the duplication, but they are included in my original post on Tues, one page back. Please do let me know if you need anything else, and *thank you* for helping a new rehabber get started on the right path. I started with my own beloved re-discovered 9085 from 1996 (which I thought had been lost in a move) and have fallen hard! These are the first two bags I’ve bought to restore…

Hi authenticators,

First time posting though I’ve been educating myself on the thread for awhile. Thanks to all for the excellent information available here. Would you take a look at this bag?

Dims 7x6x2.5
Thrift store

It’s hard to see in the photos and through the dirt, but the trim is saddle and the body is taupe or khaki.

I’m thinking Mini Bag, Spectator version #6825, late 80s before serial number format changed to xxxx-xxx?

Thank you!

Hi authenticators, this is a second similar bag. Would you take a look?

Dims 7x6x2.5
Thrift store (purchased)

I’m thinking Mini Bag, 9825, late 80s? The crookedness of the registration stamp concerned me at first wrt authenticity. But if you look very closely (easier to see in person) you can see the top of the last two digits in the next number in sequence (“20”). Mechanical stamping error… she says, fingers crossed as already purchased…?

Thank you!
Both are fine.

Sorry you were missed!

Hi all, received this one today and now I’m questioning it. Curious about the creed as well as the strap, doesn’t seem to match others of the same style I have seen. Thank you! Also included photo of the strap, which has a different shape on the clasp part, seems more rounded than oval.IMG_0792.jpeg

The bag is okay but the strap is a replacement and doesn't appear to be a Coach strap.

It appears authentic. I wish they would have posted the creed picture right side up. Straps are easy to remove from one bag and place on another. The strap may not have come with that bag.

And good to know, thank you!

I was also wondering if this is authentic? I bought it from Vinted (but it's still on its way). I did notice that a part on the strap has a different color brown, which might have been replaced?

And was this one authentic?
The Waverly bag is authentic. I'm not sure if the loop thing (not sure what it's called) is a replacement or if it just took on the color differently.

Hi authenticators, could you take a look at these two bags?

Seller: threadedthrills

Comment: I read somewhere that the creeds after 1994 should be "THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN...", and there are no gaps between any of the words. So I guess this one is fake. Also, the fonts look weird.

Comment: This one is interesting. The creed looks fine, but the 9905 Cosby bag should have a spring lock instead of a turn lock. I am wondering if it is fake or another vintage coach style?

Hello authenticators, appreciate your time and expertise as always. I already bought this one and it's here and then I realized I never asked about it, so, um. Asking about it now. (hit send too early oops)

Item: Coach Legacy Willis 19031 Limited Edition 70th Anniversary Colorblock Crossbody
Listing number: 356051486411
Seller and site where listed: micromacmarket on eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/356051486411
Comments: Definitely does not have the anniversary creed in it but from what I saw, some of the authentic ones don't, depending on when they were made, right?

Thanks again!

Both bags are authentic. Whatever guide you're reading is wrong. It is true that 1994 was the beginning of the change in creeds but not all factories started using the new stamp exclusively at the same time. Some didn't completely change over until some time in 1996.

The seller should have disclosed on the Crosby that the closure was replaced with a turnlock.
