authentic classic pouch #9170 made late 70s or 80s.

Hi authenticators,

First time posting though I’ve been educating myself on the thread for awhile. Thanks to all for the excellent information available here. Would you take a look at this bag?

Dims 7x6x2.5
Thrift store

It’s hard to see in the photos and through the dirt, but the trim is saddle and the body is taupe or khaki.

I’m thinking Mini Bag, Spectator version #6825, late 80s before serial number format changed to xxxx-xxx?

Thank you!

Hi authenticators, this is a second similar bag. Would you take a look?

Dims 7x6x2.5
Thrift store (purchased)

I’m thinking Mini Bag, 9825, late 80s? The crookedness of the registration stamp concerned me at first wrt authenticity. But if you look very closely (easier to see in person) you can see the top of the last two digits in the next number in sequence (“20”). Mechanical stamping error… she says, fingers crossed as already purchased…?

Thank you!

Hi authenticators, I bought this recently ifrom eBay. I’ve received the bag and noticed the inner zipper looks kind of funny. Shouldn’t this tan leather bag match with a brown zipper instead of the black one? Pls refer to the attached pic. Your advice is appreciated. 🙏🏻

The bag shown in the listing is genuine and from the listing pictures, it doesn't appear to have a blue zipper. IMO, the seller should have disclosed if the zipper had been replaced in a case where the color doesn't match.

But as long as the bag you received is the same one shown in the listing, it's authentic.

Hi BeenBurned, thank you so much 😊
I guess it was the lighting, the pic showed a blueish zipper but it’s actually black. Is it unusual? I checked out other eBay listing and found at least 2 with darker color zipper for a tan leather bag as well.

(5th pic shows a dark zipper )

(11th pic)

The black zipper is okay. Your picture appeared so blue and that bothered me.

Comments: I own a few of these and everything looks and feels as it should but just realized about the month (I) in serial number. I actually bought this and have it in hand if additional photos are needed. Attention lapse on my part!

Many thanks!

All bags with NYC creeds will have black or dark navy zippers. They didn't start matching the zippers to the bag color until later, probably some time in the 90s.

Would you please authenticate these replacement watch straps? They belonged to a family remember but they couldn't remember what watches they went to. Thank you
