Does this look authentic as I can’t verify online

Please help me validate the authenticity of the bag

Is that bag listed somewhere? If so, please post a link to the listing and seller ID.

No it was gifted to me and see the Creed I think it’s fake
You are correct. It's fake.

Do you think the person who gave it to you knew they got scammed? If they weren't aware they were buying a fake, they should return it or dispute it with their credit card company.

I'm sorry.

A new rehab project for me! I think this is a vintage "Shoulder Brief" 5230. Please and thank you for taking a look. Entrupy thinks it's good, but I'd like the experts with human eyes to evaluate.

The bag had perfect coach trademarks along with the Muslin dust bag but creed 😕
I have a few comments.

1. Although you may think the markings are "perfect," they aren't. Plus even if they were correct, it's pretty simple to copy a font.
2. The "muslin dust bag" you say was included isn't shown in your pictures so I can't venture a guess on authenticity of it. But there are 2 possible (potential) scenarios. The dust bag might be as fake as the bag or a genuine dust bag might have been used to further fool an unwitting buyer. FYI, there ARE fake dust bags AND sellers use genuine props to try to "prove" authenticity of fakes.
3. Some of the fakes are more closely copied than others but this one doesn't even come close (if one knows what to look for), although it is close enough to fool a novice.
4. The serial number font
5. Details of the creed (and serial number) are enough to prove inauthenticity.
6. There's no evidence that Coach ever made a bag with style number 59588 or a MFF version F59588.
  • stitching doesn't extend over top and bottom of patch
  • spacing is dreadful: "finestma terials" - "craf tsmans hip" - "refle ct" - and quality is misspelled as "cuality"

Additionally, there have been other posts requesting authenticity (July 2021) of a bag with the same invalid serial number but a completely different style bag, different hardware, different creed. At the time, the bag couldn't be positively (un)authenticated because there weren't enough pictures but there were enough red flags that I recommended that the poster return the bag. I can now state with 100% certainty that the bag from July 12, 2021 IS DEFINITELY FAKE.

This was the previous post.

Here's are several creed examples, all from fakes with the same phony serial number. (First one is yours.)

Thank you so much appreciate all the help

Hello,

Please let me know if this is authentic

The seller is jenniferjanssen but she is reposhing from gawdyglamour

I have been looking for this bag so I want to check
Poshmark is the LAST site I'd buy this bag (or any bag) from! And in this case, I question authenticity based on what the seller, jenniferjanssen claims.

If indeed she bought the bag from gaudyglamour (you misspelled the original seller's name), she should have it in her possession and be able to supply the creed phone as requested by tracib2013 back on Dec. 7. Yet instead of supplying a picture, she responded on Dec. 31 that they're the only pictures she has.

I would not even consider buying any item from a seller who is too lazy or too stubborn to reassure a buyer.

I recommend against the listing and seller you've asked about. Even if I felt good about Poshmark and their sellers, this listing can't be authenticated from the pictures shown.

Thank you! I have also asked for pics so maybe she will supply them. I bought another bag recently from poshmark that also didn't have great pictures but the price was good and I believe (now that I have it in my hand) the bag to be authentic. I should post pics of it tomorrow and see.

If she responds that will be great but I can also try lowballing and see what happens **shrug**
