Hi Authenticators! Can anyone take a look at this jewelry case for authenticity? Any details of style name/number, year, photo etc to share if authentic? The seller noted it as vintage - is that accurate? Thanks so much!

It's authentic. The pebbled leather version is style 8018.

ETA: It's from 2001-2003-ish and my notes say I found it on the Wayback for December 16, 2002. But I didn't save the page.

I didn't find 8018 today but I was able to find the nappa leather version, 8404. From what I've found, it looks like all (signature, nappa and pebbled versions) were originally priced at $98:

Genuine, and you're probably right about it being a Swinger, style 4040 and from the late 1980s.

I found the attached photo of a #8018 which states it's the Suede jewelry case version. Maybe Coach added the pebbled leather pieces to the same number at another time?? Although it's named "Small", I think it's the same size as the #8404 version you attached.

Now I'm confused. They'd made a signature one (8428), a nappa leather one (8404), a pebbled leather one (8018 per my records) and now, you've found a suede one, (also 8018).

I've also found several others including 7683 Nappa jewelry pouch and one called Spectator jewelry pouch (April 2003) but the page wasn't available so I couldn't find the style number.

At the time I was listing a pebbled one, I found it on the wayback (as 8018) though it didn't show up today when I searched. I found the others.

Hello Experts! Can you authenticate this vintage Coach bag for me?

I got this from my local Goodwill. They never have vintage bags so I was excited to finally see one. Hopefully it’s legit!

The bag measures approximately 9”h x 13”w x 3”d. I took a picture of the creed but I’m assuming that the glued in serial number came off. Is that common? It also doesn’t have its hang tag. It is a NYC find

I think it might be style 9424 but I’m not certain. If you happen to know the style number and the name and any info you have regarding when approximately it might have been made?

Oh my.....Coach created confusion. Too many to keep up with and I have no idea how you ladies do it. If I could take you all to lunch, send flowers, cookies, candy, or whatever I'd do it in a heartbeat. The continued generosity of your time and knowledge really is priceless!
