Hi All,

I bought this little Scooter bag a while ago. Just wanted to check it’s an authentic Coach bag . Also if anyone can help out on the colour that would be fantastic.

Model - Scooter
Size - 14cm x 19cm x 5cm
Purchased - Vinted UK
Seller - cgt344
Notes - No hang tag

Thank you in advance.
It might be British Tan, the color looks a little light; but it may just be dehydrated and the color could deepen after cleaning and conditioning.

Hi katev, thanks for your reply. I have cleaned (dunked) and conditioned this little bag twice. I think it may be saddle but I’m not sure. It’s certainly more towards yellow/mustard than tan/brown.

Good Afternoon, I would love to request authenticity on this adorable east west / camera style bag that’s roughly 5.50”x9”x2.25”. My mother was a flight attendant and sometimes gifted items, this happens to be one of them. Thank you for your time.View attachment 5947532View attachment 5947534View attachment 5947535
Hi, I posted an authenticity inquiry a few days ago and haven’t seen a response. If someone has a moment to take a look I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you all in advance 🙂

Hi, can I get an authentication check please? This is in my possession. I’m 99% sure it’s not legit but wanted to get a second opinion. I plan to cut the creed out and just use as a generic handbag if confirmed.

I saw your request, did some digging and was unable to find any evidence of that style or that style number as indicated by the creed/serial number.

The tag has no helpful information and I've never seen one like that before.

Although I don't see any obvious red flags and the details look like Coach, my opinion is that the bag cannot be authenticated.

Is the style number 11616 or 11816? I can't find any bag with either of those style numbers. (There's a listing with a typo calling the bag in the listing 11616 but the number is actually 11615.)

Thank you @BeenBurned. The style number is 11616 (I apologize for the wonky creed photo, it was a difficult one to take).

What originally led me to tPF and the authenticity inquiry was a Google search of the creed that produced a thread here from 2007. A member posted the style 11616 was only released in Hawaii and Las Vegas and attached a photo although it’s now unavailable to view (although I have a limited profile as a new member so that may be on my end). Bummer 😭🤣

I’ll have to hope for the best when I take a deep dive into catalogs and if I find anything would love you to take a look. Thanks again 🤍

Hi! Could someone weigh in on this cosmetic case? What is this "Limited Edition"? At first glance, I thought it was #6988 because of the size and shape. But I've never seen an inside zip pocket in any of those. Thoughts? Photos are from the listing. Thank you.

Here's this bag in an asian post: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u1111154877 sorry its not showing up here...if you Google 'Coach 11616' you will see it.
The inability to see the pictures in the 2010 post is because they've been removed, probably because the hosting site of the pictures blocked them. (I found the post: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...-in-hawaii-and-las-vegas.224274/#post-4732586)

Again, I don't see any problems with the bag nor anything that indicates that it's not authentic but I just can't state it with 100% certainty.

As for searching the Wayback or catalogs, it's unlikely that it'll be there if distribution was as limited as you say it was.

It's fine. I know 6987 and 6988 don't have pockets so it may be 6989. Other opinions are welcome.

I posted about a month ago about 3 similar styles:

Thanks for checking! The seller listed the size as 7 x 5, which made me think it was the Medium 6988. Besides your previous post of the 3 sizes, I found the attached photo showing the dimensions of each. The large case #6989 is 9 3/16 x 6 1/2 - almost clutch size, but there's no mention of whether the large size has an interior pocket.

I purchased this pouch online. Measures 4.25”L x 4”T x 1.75”D. The hang tag is doubled sided. No inside creed. And no other Coach wording/ marking on the inside or outside

There's no way to prove that it's a Coach. Hangtags can be changed or added in seconds or minutes and don't prove anything about an item's authenticity.

It's also a strange design for a Coach. There's no way to wear it or carry it on its own and no way to attach a strap (the hole the hangtag hangs from is a bit low on the side of the bag AND a bit too small for a clip type wrist strap), and if you carried it in a handbag or even with a wrist strap, anything inside the pouch could easily fall out. I've never seen a Coach designed like that, but wait for other opinins. The turnlock is also not the design used by Coach.
It's not Coach.

The female part of the turnlock isn't a type coach uses.

The stitching on the trim/piping is way to far from the edge than it should be and very sloppy.

Compare to similar from 2 different items:

From 9826:

And one last comp. Turnlock faces wrong direction:
