For a seller such as Steve's Vintage Auto & Collectibles - stevesvintageauto00 - with a "no return" policy, it's important to disclose any irregularities. An undisclosed modification as major as hardware puts the seller at risk of a NAD (not as described) claim, one in which the seller has to pay for return shipping and refund the full payment made by the buyer.

The bag itself is authentic, made in 2002.
Thank you! I’ll let the seller know that the turnlock isn’t original to the bag and hopefully he adds it to the description

Hi 👋,

I received this bag today. I’ve never held or seen a Mini Ergo before and to me it’s a lightweight bag. It’s the most I’ve spent too as I hadn’t seen this colour come up. Hoping you can confirm it’s authentic 🤞.

Style - Mini Ergo
Color - Lavender I think 🤔
Size - 24cm x 18cm x 5cm
Purchased - Vinted UK
Seller - 1pieandmash

Thank you 🙏

It's authentic, made in 1998.

Could someone validate this bag? It was made in China. The serial number is 0710-215. I would love to know the name of the bag and the year it was made. Please and Thank YOU for helping me.

It's authentic.

Why do you think it was made in China? It correctly states at the bottom of the creed "made in the United States."

Thank you. Regarding the " made in C!ina " : I had to use a magnifying glass to read that photo. I thought I read the word China in the creed. I couldn't read the last line at all. I am jealous of your great eyeballs:drool:

Was this a real production?

I'm not a PM fan, supporter, advocate or defender but I hope that listing wasn't removed as fake.

I found the seller and listing but was unable to pull up a cache of the original listing. It'd be interesting to see how that strap attaches to the pouch.

I'm estimating the timeframe of the item is from between 2004 and 2008 but I'm unable to find a wayback page or stock image.

So I let the seller know about the turnlock but he insists that his roommate bought it “brand new” a few years back and that this was the way it came 🤦‍♀️ I let him know that other listings of this bag that were from the same plant as this bag have consistent turnlocks and that otherwise the bag is authentic. Also told him that I’m letting him know so it can be disclosed to potential buyers, but he just doubled down and insists the bag is original. So just a head’s up to anyone thinking of buying this bag or other items from him since he also has other coach bags for sale - double check to make sure things haven’t been altered!

I'm not seeing red stripes? It looks like normal blue ticking. The photos are terrible with some weird yellow lighting. I think it is okay, yes #7170.

That's weird! It looks like two separate items: a coin purse and replacement strap, somehow put together. I don't know why the strap would have the tag for the coin purse on it. The wording of the tag doesn't imply there is a strap. I owned a similar coin purse at one time. I had it in my files as #1735 but I don't know where I got that number. The exterior is made of pony hair. It was tiny. The lining was red and it had a keyring with a red hangtag.

Thanks for your input. I agree, the photos are terrible. When I looked at the listing photos again, I still see red ticking in a couple of them and must have originally overlooked the photo where the ticking actually looks blue striped.
Too bad Coach didn't use red ticking in the red bags - it would have been a pretty combo.
