Dear Authenticators,

I purchased this bag on Etsy in March 2021 and as I have just purchased one in British tan, I may sell this one but would like to make sure it is authentic first.

I would appreciate feedback on whether this is authentic.

Item: Genuine vintage COACH Tribeca tan leather bucket bag
Listing number: N/A
Seller: VintageLeatherPurses

Thank you in advance!

Greetings authenticators,

Thank you for this generous offering. Newbie who has researched, but just found this forum. After perusing this thread, I realize these might be questionable but I'd really like some light colored bags. Figured I would start with these and hopefully learn something. Appreciate your expertise when time allows 😀

1.
Item: Wendie (9031)
Listing number: 335199287646
Seller and site where listed: Chatran; eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3351992876...cdSewIMRJW&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Comments: I read that a lot of fakes are unfortunately coming from Japan and this seller also has mixed reviews here. Before I did the search, I thought the bag had potential.

2.
Item: Wendie (9031)
Seller and site where listed: itshadrian; Poshmark
Link: https://posh.mk/YleOtGe9bGb
Comments: The font looks different to me but maybe I'm not educated enough yet. Also seems unusual for the 1 to look like a lower case "L." Thoughts?

3.
Item: Abbie (9017)
Seller and site where listed: andrew1976; Poshmark
Link: https://posh.mk/dmuyisp9bGb
Comments: Creed not being legible means it likely can't be authenticated, but I wanted to know if there was ever a "Z" code for a US plant? Noticed a lot of U.S. made Abbie bags have a "C" or "B." Just trying to learn.

1. The first listing from Japanese seller chatran is authentic but I urge caution when buying from that seller and any other Japanese sellers.

Although there was a time that we rarely saw fakes coming out of Japan, times have changed and although Japan has strict anti-counterfeiting laws, they either aren't applying them or they don't have brand experts who can correctly verify authenticty.

Japanese sellers seem to have an endless supply of Korean-made fake "vintage" bags as well as a plethora of fake newer bags with Disney, Peanuts, Nasa and other themed styles.

Caveat emptor!

For the next 2 listings on you asked about from Poshmark, I (personally) generally refuse to authenticate and promote the site and its sellers because in so many instances, neither Poshmark nor the sellers end listings of known and reported fakes. In fact, many sellers who've been kicked of ebay after being restricted or banned have gone to Poshmark, presumably because they're more apt to get away with peddling fakes there.

However I do comment on occasion and I look at sellers' other listings.

2. Poshmark itshadrian

I believe the bag you asked about is okay although I'd like other opinions. However itshadrian has listed and/or sold (knowingly or not) fakes.

This bag is fake:

The bag you're asking about is fake.

And the seller has sold other fakes.

Hello,

I found this one locally. I don't have a good picture of the badge but it says L509979.

Thanks so much.

We need to see a picture of the creed. Just knowing the serial number doesn't tell us much unless it's a known invalid fake number.

It's hard to get good pictures of creeds with tight openings and attached pockets but if you prop the bag open and have overhead lighting or a flashlight to shine in, you should be able to get a decent picture.

I couldn't figure out to bump a post. Please authenticate

Thank you.
It's authentic and called Scottie KF, style 7384.

However AFAIK, neither hangtag on the black dog in the listing is original to the fob.

The keychain came in both black dog and white dog versions and the lozenge charms that came wtih them were silver (nickel).

Thanks @BeenBurned. I wondered about that because I have the white Scottie and he has the little silver tag.

ShopGoodwill is showing multiple listing for bags and wallets they're calling "Hammoq Coach." No creeds are shown, and authentication is by E.....y. I couldn't find anything by this name via Google.

Is Hammoq Coach a collab that I missed? (I haven't paid much attention to Coach design since around 1995.) Another Korean name like SportsCoach? Something else?

A couple of screenshots are below.

?? Here's what I found googling "hammoq."

It you search "hammoq" on shopgoodwill, it looks like many, many listings all from this place: Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont. I think it's some A.I. thing they're using and has nothing to do with Coach. We'll see what the authenticators say.

Hi, all. Might I ask you to have a look at a few more today? Thank you again, as always.

Mini Belt Bag (9826) in red (not the same as the two I submitted for authentication earlier recently) - 0071-259 - recent eBay purchase from armorion
Measurements: 5.5" x 4.75" x 1.5"
Photos below:

Sonoma Flat Pack Sling Nubuc (4944) in Sage - K5M-4944
eBay purchase years ago. To my delight, I found the (presumably) original papers & cleaning kit inside—the seller hadn’t even mentioned them. In any case, the listing is long gone. According to my records, the seller was emmystheiftshop.
Measurements: 16.5" x 8.5" x 5.5"

Nottingham / Canterbury Bag (9948) in black - 1028-322 - recent Poshmark purchase from wildflowersloft
Measurements: 8.5" (across the bottom) x 7.5" (with bag closed) x 3.75" —let me know if I should take those measurements in other places than where I have.

This bag is also described as Hammoq Coach and shows a creed photo. The description says it's a Rambler.

Still confused! And still 100% relying on human authenticators, not AI!
