Hello,

I took a peek at this Dinky which seems good to my untrained eye, though it's not a style I'm interested in at this time. I was wondering, however, if the discoloration on the turnlock and interior zipper chain is typical for genuine bags of this vintage. At your convenience please, and thank you in advance!

It's authentic. Are you talking about the verdigris on the brass? It can happen. It probably happens more in humid environments. That turnlock looks worse than most. You can use brass polishing products on it but I don't know if you would ever get that turnlock perfect. You can buy replacements turnlocks if you prefer. Often the zipper chain won't shine up at all as it is worn down to a base metal.

Hola! Can you take a look at this 9966 I received from ThredUp?

I swear ThredUp (shakes fist) needs start showing the inside of bags.

All reverse image searches came back as the 9966. I have not familiarized myself with the newer serial numbers.

It looks fine. It's a Legacy zip reissue made in 2010.

I'm not familiar with the second one. It is fairly recent. I don't see any problems. More opinions are welcome.

The first one is an authentic PDA case. The velcro was to hold your palm pilot. It was made around 2000 probably for retail stores. It could be one of these:
