Authenticators, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. No rush on evaluating this at all. Prices on green vintage bags (including this one) always soar past my wallet anyway, so I'm asking out of curiosity.

Hello Authenticators,

Was wondering if this is an authentic bag? I purchased as a xmas gift for gf as she has been looking for one with wizard of oz design. Seller said it does not come with the red ruby shoe charm and that got me worried. Thank you!

I think the bag seems okay but the ruby slipper charm (and the missing hangtag) are certainly important elements of a Wizard of Oz item.

Although the price is considerably lower than others (listed by other sellers), the listing doesn't disclose the missing pieces and the omission would make the bag qualify as NAD (not as described).

Not only in sellers' listings, is there a section that they can disclose modifications but NWT (new with tags) is intended to mean that the item is exactly as made, especially when there are no disclosures.

You can request a cancellation from the seller although sellers aren't required to accept cancellation requests but if she doesn't accept and insists on sending it, once you receive it, you can open a return request for "missing pieces."

I doubt that Coach would be willing to replace the charms, especially for an item that was purchased on the secondary market but you may get lucky if you ask. But for an out of stock item, the chances of them even having it available would be low.

I can't really read the creed but I think it is probably okay. Take a better picture of the creed when you get it so we can check it. The pictures look like they were taken through a screen or something. I hope it isn't really crosshatched like that. You can even see it in the interior shot.
So I received the bag and it's a beautiful red it just needs a cleaning! I think you were right and the shadow from the sellers window made it look weird and crosshatched like that! How funny, and I am relieved lol! I added some pics and a better shot of the creed. Could someone just take a peek at the creed and confirm it's all good? Thank you so much

Thank you so much! I will send an inquiry to Coach to see if they have replacement charms. Hope you have a wonderful weekend~

Hola! Can you take a look at this 9966 I received from ThredUp?

I swear ThredUp (shakes fist) needs start showing the inside of bags.

All reverse image searches came back as the 9966. I have not familiarized myself with the newer serial numbers.
