Hello! I have more info on this bag I posted last week about:
  • Item: 1970’s NYC Collegiate in red?
  • Listing number: 945-9844
  • Seller and site where listed: @allmilo on Poshmark
  • Link: https://posh.mk/K3JDyxGcOBb
  • Measurements: approximately 8.25” x 6” x 3”
  • Comments: I had posted earlier about this as well but didn’t have measurements or good photo. Measurements above and new photos attached. Tape was put against inside clasp. Length of strap is only 29” so it does seem shortened. I also can’t tell if one side of the strap is painted? Want to confirm its authenticity and also what the official color is? Red? It does seem almost more of a rust orange color. Any insight is much appreciated!

They did a really good job of cutting off the strap, putting in new holes and stitching around the edge. On my collegiate, the longer strap measures 36 inches from end to ring. The color was just called red. You can't tell the real color or if it has been painted until you rehab the bag. A bath should deepen the color some. The inside looks a lot darker than the outside.

I’m not quite sure how this site works but i got this purse from a family member who recently passed and I wanted to check the authenticity of it and possibly how much it’s worth? I couldn’t get a proper picture of the creed so I’ll put it here b1881 29694
This is the only link to it that I could find online https://www.vitkac.com/us/p/embellished-wallet-coach-wallet-bpsnf-144131View attachment 5834469View attachment 5834470View attachment 5834471View attachment 5834472View attachment 5834473View attachment 5834474View attachment 5834475

Welcome to TPF.

I don't see any problems with the wallet.

We don't advise on price as there can be so many variables, among them condition, rarity, popularity, etc.

The best I can offer is to search online sites for similar items to see what sellers are listing them for (current listings) and check completed and sold listings to see what they've sold for.

Hi Authenticators, I wonder if you would be so kind as to authenticate this Ivy Green Rogue shoulder bag?

It's not an online item, it's an item I already have :).

Approx 29cm cm wide, approx 20cm depth, approx 7.5cm wide. I'm useless at measuring so this could be out a little bit as I have used a ruler rather than tape.

I've not been able to locate a little white tag with production info but the style info etc is on the creed patch :)

Have a lovely day!

Good Afternoon,

I found this vintage shoulder bag today at a local thrift store. The metal tag appears to say Bonnie Cashin, though it is oxidized on the script. I think it’s an early Coach and wonder if you’re familiar with it. I would love to know the year, style name, and color name if possible. It measures 11 1/2” wide by 12 1/2” tall, is very thin, with a 15” handle drop, altogether 27 1/2 inches long. Thanks for your help.

Hello all!
I was hoping I could get some help on this bag.
I found it in my garage and I think my ex-sis in law thrifted but I have no clue. I’m not really a purse girl but I do think it’s really cute. I would just like to know if it’s an authentic coach and if so around how old?

Very nice find and for only $3! It's authentic, probably made late 60s or early 70s. I don't know the exact name of the style. Bonnie Cashin made a similar style for Meyers after she left Coach, in 1975.

It's authentic. As it says on the tag (abbreviated), it's a Kristin leather double zip satchel. It was made in 2012 for factory stores, which means it probably sold for at least 50% off the tag price.
