Could anyone please help me authenticate this listing on eBay?

Item: B7L- 9930 Vintage Leather Coach Crossover Tan Murphy Bag Turn-Lock
Listing number: 195913786606
Seller and site where listed: weis_jani, eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/195913786606
Comments: The photo of the creed isn't very clear, but according to the listing title the product code should be B7L- 9930. I can ask the seller for a clearer picture if you need it.

It's a small opening and hard to get in to take a good picture but if possible to get a better picture with better lighting, that would be helpful. What I see seems okay but I'd really like a better shot.

Hello! I have more info on this bag I posted last week about:
  • Item: 1970’s NYC Collegiate in red?
  • Listing number: 945-9844
  • Seller and site where listed: @allmilo on Poshmark
  • Link: https://posh.mk/K3JDyxGcOBb
  • Measurements: approximately 8.25” x 6” x 3”
  • Comments: I had posted earlier about this as well but didn’t have measurements or good photo. Measurements above and new photos attached. Tape was put against inside clasp. Length of strap is only 29” so it does seem shortened. I also can’t tell if one side of the strap is painted? Want to confirm its authenticity and also what the official color is? Red? It does seem almost more of a rust orange color. Any insight is much appreciated!

Hello!
I purchased a bag at Goodwill today and was hoping one of you could tell me if it’s an authentic vintage Coach bag.
I wasn’t able to figure out the exact name of the bag. It’s roughly 11.5” x 10.5” x 5”.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Lisa

Thanks for your prompt reply. The seller replied to me with this photo. Not quite sure if it's good enough from an authenticator's point of view…

Genuine, probably a Bucket Bag style 4075 from the Lightweight line made in the early 1990s.

For any future requests, please remember that we also need a link to the listing and the seller's name when available. Thanks for including the creed and serial photo.

My earlier opinion still holds.
Whateve is correct that it's a Collegiate Bag from around 1988. I don't guess colors especially with that much fading but the inside pocket shows the closest color to the original. It was probably just called Red. The strap and its hardware still bother me, it may have been replaced, or at the very least, cut.

More comments are welcome.

I don't recommend Poshmark nor authenticate requests on that site because of the dreadful history of the site and many sellers.

I'll leave it to one of the other authenticators if they're willing to authenticate the red bag.

However I'll comment on some of allmilo's listings.

This fake was sold twice - possibly purchased, found to be fake, returned and resold a second time. The serial number on this bag is 0974-534.
