That particular bag (a Pocket Purse from the early 1990s) is genuine but that seller has listed fakes before in the handbag category. I personally have also seen at least one jewelry item incorrectly described as having a gemstone much more valuable than what was actually included, i.e. a blue topaz described as an aquamarine.

High-volume sellers who enjoy the spotlight need to be especially diligent about describing and authenticating their items but a few of them unfortunately don't seem to understand that. JMO, but once a seller loses my trust, it's gone for good. And I have a very long memory. "Your mileage may differ", as the saying goes.

Hope these help and thanks for all you do you seem to have a passion for sniffing out the frauds.

If there's an open pocket on the back of the bag it's a genuine Pocket Purse, style 9755 from the late 1980s.

There is an open pocket but the numbers 9755 are no where on it just curious as to why that is and thanks again for your help.
Items made before 1994 have unique serial numbers and the style numbers are not on the bag.

Thank you! I have a quick question and please let me know if this isn't the right place to ask. I see on some purses that the "made in the unites states" part is in the middle of the creed instead of at the end like this one. Is that not authentic?
It depends on when the bags were made. Sometime after 1994, creeds were changed to the new format with the country of manufacture in the body of the creed. Earlier creeds have it along the bottom.
