Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

It might not even be leather. A lot of fakes are plastic even though creeds say they're leather.

Politely bumping in case this was missed…
I was hoping one of you would be willing to look at this daypack I have in my possession? My concern is the creed isn’t stamped deep enough, so all that you can read is the numbers. I’m not sure if it can even be authenticated, and wondering if I should just return it? Any help would be appreciated. Have a great holiday! Thank for your consideration.

Feeling iffy about a purchase I recently made from shopgoodwill. Thinking I may have just been overzealous and excited to grab a legacy piece but since it arrived I'm questioning it a bit. Mainly the thickness of it and the lining being horizontal and not vertical stripes. Thankfully not much in it but def feeling silly for my excitement if it's a fake. Dear Authenticators,
I now have a turn lock backpack in my possession that I purchased on eBay. Measurements are approximately L7xH9xW4 inches. The only thing I really don’t like about it is the creed. It is not stamped deep enough and is totally illegibility except for the numbers. The made in tag says Vietnam. Please will you take a look? I can still return it…but if you think it is authentic and I keep will it have a resell value with that creed?

Although I don't see any obvious problems with what I see in the listing, I'm bothered by a couple of things.

If the creed is as blurry and difficult to read in real life as it is in your picture, that's a problem. It needs to be legible enough to be able to see if it's as it should be. Since there is just 1 other listing of the same bag and it doesn't show the creed, I don't know whether they were all that blurry.

Another question I have concerns the tag. The top left corner is ripped off so it doesn't show the style number although the description under the UPC code appears to be correct for the style.

But another problem is that the color code on your bag's tag is "HA" where it should be "BK" for black. (Does anyone know what HA stands for?)

I don't know why the second 1/2 of the UPC code is different and I don't know whether it should be different. (Usually, the identical item in same color would have the same bar code.)

Bottom line: I would return it based on the illegibility of the creed as well as the color code. I don't think you should have to pay return shipping although whether it's "not as described" or not is unknown.

BeenBurned, I agree with your concerns, especially about the tag with the "HA" color code. "HA" is Coach's code for CHALK.

I think it's a good idea to return it, especially since you're original request referred to your possibly reselling it.

For the next one, if you're interested in it, please post a link to the listing and the seller ID.
