Hi authenticators!
May I ask these two identical bottle green Willis checked out? Thank you very much in advance for your time and expertise!

Item: green Willis
Where purchased or how obtained: local consignment & vintage flea over the years.
Comments: Both seems to be made in 1994. Different font for logos so I appreciate authentication!

Different plants mean different stamps. Both bags are genuine.

Hi authenticators! I bought the below purse without going here first, and now I think I may have been had, since from what I can make out, the serial number is H72-5130, and from reading online I think the third digit is always a letter. Would someone mind authenticating?

Item: Vintage Coach Station Bag
Listing number: 235021228919
Seller and site where listed: mari1115, Ebay
Link: Comments: This is my first time buying vintage Coach so appreciate the help!

The bag is authentic.

Be careful of which "authenticity guides" you read online. Most are not dependable in the accuracy of their information. Info may be incomplete, obsolete or just plain wrong.

Please read the SaleArea guides here on TPF. They're updated when necessary and most important, they're accurate.

If the news is bad I can still cancel. Thank you, all, as always.

I think it is probably fake, but wanted to make sure. I picked this up at a thrift store. Thank you.

One more. I've never seen a bag like this, or this type of closure. Is this authentic? It's so unusual, I bought it (just in case it is authentic). It has a creed but no serial number. What do experienced and knowing eyes think? Please and thank you for looking. A google image search found nothing similar.

Ugh! Neither bag can be authenticated as listed.

For bag #1, the "Coach Gray Leather Purse," it can't be authenticated without a picture of the small white label that should be buried inside the bag somewhere. It would be either sewn into the side seam near the made in label or hidden in the bottom left of the zipper pocket. (They might have to turn the pocket inside out to photograph it.)

For bag #2, the "COA" is useless because a supposed "sample" bag with either 99999 or 00000 style numbers cannot be confirmed as authentic. (Some obvious fakes CAN be judged but authenticity can NEVER be proven as genuine.) The COA proves nothing in this case.

Personally, I would never buy a sample unless it was a bag I plan to keep forever. (I sell bags when I tire of them and with a bag that can't be proven genuine, it's disallowed that it be resold.)
