It's genuine.

You should only compare details of bags of the same style, or at least from the same style LINE, in this case the Madison line. Because two bags are made in the same country doesn't mean they are going to have the same details. Country of origin has nothing to do with it. The wording of the creed can change along the way.
Thank you, Hyacinth! I was outbid by a sniper at the last second. Maybe next time.

I appreciate your guidance regarding comparing details only from bags of the same line! I will endeavor to do so in the future.

My search on Coach bags made in Italy brought me to a post on Facebook that you perhaps wrote, it mentioned a Dakota line of bags made in Italy. Is there a resource you could recommend about the Dakota line?

Does anyone have any idea if this piece is authentic Coach? I've been carrying it around for a while. Got it several years back at a consignment shop. It measures 10" wide, 7.5" high, and has slim profile. Interior is unlined suede with no pockets, no creed patch. Could it be a pice that belongs inside another Coach item? There is an ID pocket, 3 pen holders, and a larger pocket to front. Thanks for your help, as always!
It's authentic. It was called an organizer caddy #4514. It was in a 1997 catalog.

Dear Authenticators, if you get a chance, please check this one out for me...thanks in advance.
Item: COACH 9790 City Tan Leather Crossbody Purse Shoulder Bag
Seller and site where listed: Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina - GREENVILLE
Link: https://shopgoodwill.com/item/167847619
Comments: It has the dreaded J4D, so expert eyes are definitely needed

And guess what  They are going to sell the darn thing today
I don't care how many random items shopgoodwill.com has authenticated with "COA" from Entrupy and another company in an attempt to show integrity. They've listed and sold too many fakes with COAs attesting to their being authentic and too many other sales of fakes without a COA. (Makes me wonder if they only show "authenticated" items when they "pass" and if they simply list with BS disclaimers of responsibility when they either don't pass authentication or if they don't know.)

Although in theory, Goodwill's mission is commendable, my opinion is that they only want items sold and don't GAS about abiding by the law. (And for the record, I don't shop on Goodwill's various online sites, Goodwill's ebay stores nor at Goodwill B&M stores.)

Just the Italy part of the Salearea Guides and the early 1990s Vintage Coach Catalogs thread in the Coach Reference forum. Or you can just do a Coach Forum search for "Coach Dakota".

Hello I recently bought this vintage Coach bag as a collector Ive never seen one was able to find it on a catalog from 1973-1974. I would like to know rarity, value and history. Thank you!

I bought a bag off of poshmark (I know y’all hate poshmark) but I’m new in the vintage collection journey. Please authenticate :)

Item: COACH Camel Color Soho Leather Flap Shoulder Bag
Listing number: Poshmark, patch number is KO682-10578
Seller and site where listed: @reuzandmore

Comments: the extra stitching on the bottom is throwing me off. Also the patch doesn’t look slightly worn in.

In the trash! Nice find! A gal after my own heart.

It's a genuine Station bag, style 5130 from the (?) early 90s.

Is this fake? I saw it and grabbed it.
Measures 7x4
Strap Hangs 48"
Thank you for your time!
