We need a picture of the entire creed, not just the number.

Yep, I definitely want to see the rest of THAT creed! :thinkin:

There should be a small "Made In ..." tag sewn into the lining, I'd like to see a close-up of that too.

Hi!
Can I get an authentication in this turn lock case?
Seller: theknittingfool
auction: 201392542938
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Vinta...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

PS - I was concerned because of the grooves on the back of the turn lock hardware.
I also have one of these in black and will post pics. Mine also has the same hardware,
but no creed inside...definitely older.
ANyway, I know there is one briefcase style that was authenticated
that DID have the grooves in the turn lock hardware, so could these be okay?
GRACIAS!

Here are the photos of the turn lock case in my possession.
Would appreciate your opinion!
Thanks!

I think it is fake. I don't believe they ever made it in bubble gum pink. Most of those I've seen don't have creeds and have the Coach imprint higher up, under the flap. Some of these may have had creeds but the cosmetic cases I've seen that have creeds don't have numbers, and when they have creeds, they don't have the Coach lozenge on the outside. In this case, the creed number font is wrong for the D plant. There are a slew of counterfeit cases of this style.

Okay. I also found another one in red, but the seller does not show the turn lock.
It does not have a creed inside but has the imprint lower on the case like the pink one.
Would this be fake as well? Or is it questionable?

I think yours is probably fake because of the grooves in the turnlock.

This one is at least questionable. I think the imprint is too fuzzy.

I love your avatar! I love the one ear up look!

Ladies:

I discovered this wonderfully informative forum this afternoon - unfortunately after I had already ordered and received what I now believe to be a possibly counterfeit Coach scout owing to the lack of a Registration Number on the creed. Can you verify whether it is indeed fake or authentic?

Comments: Photos of the creed and purse are attached for your convenience.

Thanks in advance for your valued assistance!

I don't see any problems with your bag. Coach no longer puts the number on the creed. Check inside the pocket. There should be a strip there with the serial number. A picture of that would be helpful. More opinions are welcome.
