Good Morning, I am on a duffle kick! I have another one for y'all to review
Item: Coach Legacy Leather Duffle
Listing number: 225477862293
Seller and Site: mrindiana on Ebay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225477862293
Comments: This is described as Robin's Egg Blue, is that a color from Coach? I am looking for the tourmaline color

Thank you so much for your help!
There were several blue colors in legacy duffles. I think this is robin, not robin's egg blue. Robin's egg blue had brass hardware. This is not tourmaline as that had dark gray lining.
Here's picture comparing robin to robin's egg blue (and chambray). Tourmaline is darker and richer as shown in this stock photo.

I'm so sorry because there's nothing wrong with that bag and no valid reason for the removal. WHen you say you were "kicked off ebay," I assume you meant that the listing was removed but not that you're restricted from listing Coach.

I saw one of your recently ended (but not removed) listings for the bag and there's nothing in the listing that should have raised red flags.
Correct! I could have phrased that better. Glad you all agree it is not fake!!

Hello! Please authenticate this Coach flap bag.
This was a thrift find
9" x 12" x 3"

Images 3 and 4 show the zipper pull; it is hard to see in the image, but it does have YKK printed on it (I know this does not mean it is real though). This was a very cheap impulse buy, and I am not confident that it's real (I have never seen a Coach bag with a fabric/plastic inside zip before in particular, do correct me if this is not a giveaway). I figure it is at least thick, nice leather in a fun color even if it's a fake!

Thank you all for your amazing expertise!

It's authentic. They used nylon zippers on interiors to make the bags lighter in weight. That was especially important in a line of bags called Lightweights. This is part of that collection made between 1989 and 1993. I don't know the name of this style.

Well I am completely surprised, thank you so much for your help! I'd been trying to find the style and could not find it, but will keep searching [edit: now that I have MUCH more information] (unless someone else on here happens to know). Thank you again!

I believe it's a style 4132 Carlton Bag from the Lightweight line, probably made in 1993. The poster's measurements don't match Coach's, but they work if you measure the bag stuffed and with the narrow sides and base flat and following the stitched side seams the way Coach photographed it for the catalog, instead of pulled all the way out to its maximum width when flat. It's usually a good idea to stuff the bag with a small towel or shirt when photographing it. Coach almost always stuffs their bags for catalog photographs.

And it's a LOT easier when we're trying to authenticate and identify pre-1994 bags when they resemble Coach's catalog photos. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge.

Thank you so, so much for this. You are correct; I had not stuffed the bag, and when I do it does match the measurements. Amazing! Your work is so very appreciated, I can't thank you enough.

Good morning! Can this bag please be authenticated? Thank you!
Item: Vtg 90s Coach Casino Black Leather
Seller and site where listed: Daisy Roots Vintage on Etsy

Comments: Is this bag black or Coach’s navy? The color of the hang tag is bluer than the bag (although I know this could be a replacement), but might tbis bag be Coach’s navy? I did compare it a black Dinky and Slim Duffle and it looks a little blue compared to those.
