I've never had a bag authenticated before and I thank you all in advance because I read this thread all of the time and I know how hard you all work. If this is legit, my daughter would love it, but I have some reservations.

It was made 12 years ago so it's very likely there aren't any others for sale. The style was called a Legacy Soft Pebbled Duffle Sac and it's genuine.

Ahh I'm back with another bag. This is so bad :nogood: hopefully this will be my last bag and I won't have to bother you guys anymore. Anyways, can someone help authenticate this

This is yet another seller who either exaggerates the age of her items to make them more desirable or doesn't have a clue how to read serial numbers.

This bag was made in 1995, NOT 1980s and will officially become "vintage" in September.

Regarding the bullet, in an authentic bag, that indicates a bag that was made for full priced sale but ended up at the outlet. (We've seen fake outlet bullets, thus the reference to "in an authentic bag.")

Ooh ok. That makes sense. Do you think the bag itself is authentic?

Serial numbers starting with J from the mid to late 1990s always require extra caution since that J code seems to have been a special favorite with counterfeiters, but this one looks genuine.

I'm a little nervous now since the seller gave the wrong year of the bag and now the J serial number. I guess I'll keep on looking. Thanks

Btw, You guys are awesome for taking the time to look at the posting and authenticating it and the fast responses. This is an incredible thread. So glad I found this
