Name: Stewardess Bag

I love vintage COACH I found this bag and I would love to give it a little TLC and bring it back to its former glory. I am just not completely sure if it is the real thing.

I would love to know if this is a real vintage Coach!

It looks real. But we can't tell you what style it is without measurements and more pictures, especially the part under the flap, the top of the inside pocket and of the back showing whether or not there's an outside back pocket.

Style number: 190-9736

Measurements: 8" high, 10" wide, 4" deep
I found this vintage coach along with the prior Stewardess bag. Again, I am not sure if it is true vintage and would love to know the truth before I put time and money into refurbishing it.

genuine Stewardess bag.

Both bags are true vintage, probably from the 80s.

Since all-number serial numbers were discontinued in 1994, and "Made In New York City USA" creeds were discontinued by 1988, any genuine Coach bag with one or both of those is over 20 years old and vintage.

The second bag is a Saddlery Bag style 9535 from 1986 or 1987.

It's a genuine Legacy Compartment Tote.

Different styles, plants and time periods might use slightly different leathers.

Hi there-- I am not an authenticator so forgive me if I am speaking out of place-- I am not questioning the authenticity of this bag but to say it is "New" seems a bit of a stretch. If I'm not mistaken it was made in 2000 and there appear to be mild scratches as well as stretching to the leather. This bag may have been cared for and/or refurbished but I question any reference to it as new. Unless maybe I'm reading too much into the photos....?
