I don't believe the bag is Coach, nor is it pretending to be. It looks like a legitimate similar style to that shown by @ConnieinSeattle .

If the last picture shows any brand stamping, I can't read it.
As you know, not an authenticator here. But, I'll share my 2-cents, anyway. Nice bag! The inner zipper pull hardware looks identical to Coach. And I think I notice a ball chain in one picture. Does it have a hangtag? Hardware can be replaced--that may or may not be the original hardware. However, the "no creed" thing... If it is a lookalike, it might be based on this Coach bag style: https://www.etsy.com/listing/132785...how_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details
After way too much time Googling, I think I’ve solved it. I believe the bag is by Laura USA / Laura Leathergoods which along with Ann Taylor was actually part of a legal dispute with Coach for copying their bags. The bags specifically sited in the dispute were the dinky, duffle sac and convertible clutch. I got bored reading all the legal mumbo jumbo but I think ultimately Coach won but I’m not sure because after finding that I found a lot of ‘Laura’ bags out there that all looked very Coach like. I can see why Coach had an issue, the bags are really well made.

The Laura bags I've seen all have stamps with the name. Unless yours is rubbed off, it doesn't appear to have any stamped branding.

I saw that Laura bags usually have a hang tag like Coach so I dug the packaging out of the recycle bin and found it had come off. It just says Laura which I would have thought was a personalized tag had I not gone googling around.

Please make a copy of the seller's original photo of the creed stamp and serial number and add the copy to this post using the REPLY button. Thank you.

Thanks for responding! I’ve attached a picture of the creed, along with some other photos of the bag.

Edit: I’m not sure if I posted my response in the right place. I’m newish to this site! This is the bag being sold by @yogi1229 on Poshmark. https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-Pocket-Purse-Crossbody-9755-Navy-63a8eebcb635f82f0e4a1d80

Hello, authenticators!
I recently pulled this bag out from my moms closet that she thrifted years ago. I went to wash it and give it a new life but the moment I was washing it (the gentle and right way to clean a coach bag), the leather started to rip like wet paper. Now I don’t know if that happened cause it was “old” But I washed many vintage coach bags and this never happened to me. I just would like to know before I toss it if this is authentic or not. (In the pics the bag is wet) Thank you!
