I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays! I bought this bag online and it’s now in my possession. This was not posted as a Coach bag. It came up as I was doing a visual search for a saddlery bag. I bought it because it was cheap and a hot mess. I thought it would be a good challenge for honing my rehab skills. The bag seems to be vintage and of good, comparable quality to Coach. I was wondering if anyone had any thought as to the possible maker of this bag. Thank you!

As you know, not an authenticator here. But, I'll share my 2-cents, anyway. Nice bag! The inner zipper pull hardware looks identical to Coach. And I think I notice a ball chain in one picture. Does it have a hangtag? Hardware can be replaced--that may or may not be the original hardware. However, the "no creed" thing... I don't believe the bag is Coach, nor is it pretending to be. It looks like a legitimate similar style to that shown by @ConnieinSeattle .

If the last picture shows any brand stamping, I can't read it.

The bag is authentic and the stamping and spacing are correct for the when and where made, Costa Rica in 1996.

Yes, it looks incredibly similar to a Saddlery style by Coach. That’s actually how I stumbled upon it actually.
