Hello, I got a package of 3 bags on ebay from a goodwill seller. I'm mostly interested in authenticating the vintage (looks like) burgundy bag with turnlock. It measures: 11 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall by 2.5 across the bottom. Thank you for an opinion!!

The vintage bag is authentic, as is the white one. The signature might be - there is no creed picture. The vintage bag is probably a convertible clutch.

Hello

I would appreciate authentication of this bag:

Would this be a big rehab project or a straightforward one? I am concerned about what looks like mould. Would dunking get rid of this? I will seek more advice on the rehab boards if it's authentic.

How rare are Plazas? I have not seen many for sale. Many thanks in advance for the advice!!
It's authentic. It does appear to be mold. It's possible the mold is old and dead. Dunking won't get rid of the spots, but if you use vinegar, it should kill it. They are permanent. When mold gets bad, the spots make little indentations in the leather that are also permanent.

Plazas aren't super rare but most are pretty expensive. I probably wouldn't take a chance on this if I wasn't in the UK because a long time sealed up in a package could allow the mold to grow if it isn't already dead. The seller does say the mold is dead. You would have to buy a new turnlock. The strap is missing. If you want to try rehab techniques and don't care for a perfect result, it could be a good practice bag. It won't be an easy rehab.

Thanks for this very useful advice.

The strap is actually included, it's shown in the photos, but not the first one. i think this may be a little bit too much work for a novice like me. I do live in the UK so the bag would not be sealed in a bag for long. But still think i will swerve, especially with the broken hardware.

Thank you for fitting us into your holidays! I got this Rexy bag on shopgoodwill last night, it's not in hand yet. Do these 3 pics give enough info for an authentication? Entrupy thinks it's legit but we all know the eyes and minds here are more accurate than a computer algorythm.

3 pictures are NOT enough to authenticate and the fact that Entrupy deems it genuine based on what's shown speaks volumes for Entrupy's and Goodwill's lack of credibility.

I agree. I've noticed before that some images on an entrupy cert of an item were not included in the goodwill listing of that item itself. I think they may have access to more images than what we get to see. Of course, I really don't know. Just a surmise.
