Hello Authenticators,
I just received this bag and was hoping you can look it for me please. I'm crossing my fingers bc I've been looking for a (I think it's gray) color like this for myself. Ps. I added a side by side photo in case I'm wrong about the color. Thank you.

Hello Authenticators!
Hope all is well ;)
I recently went thrifting and found this brown coach shoulder bag and felt that it was authentic. However after really examining it I’m not sure. The zippers do have “YKK”! However, I noticed that the strap starts off wide and as it gets to the center it gets skinny (added pictures of strap down below) and the creed doesn’t have two dashes. My creed also has the coach label rubbed off slightly but I think that’s normal with wear.
The number of the creed is : C0G-9059
Please let me know if this bag is authentic or not, thank you so much!

Good morning! Can someone confirm if this keychain is legit? I've been seeing it pop up on all the resale sites recently by several sellers (or maybe I'm just noticing it now because I like it), and this particular listing has multiples available. They say it's from a store closing. I don't see any red flags, but I want to be sure. Thanks in advance!

It's fake. It's a highly faked style and most of the fakes have the "correct" style number as part of the serial number.

NOTE!! YKK or any other brand of zipper has NOTHING to do with authenticity!

Fakes have zippers marked as YKK (genuine or fake zippers) and genuine items can and do have other brands of zippers as well as YKK!

I'm not comfortable with the item and especially not with the seller's story.

WHAT KIND of store was "closing"? If it was a legitimate Coach store the keychains would have been sent to an official Coach Factory Outlet store long ago. They would also have authentic Coach price tags, and at least one detail on them does NOT match genuine Coach keyfobs. It looks to me like counterfeiters are copying styles from about 15 years ago and flooding the market with them, since I'm seeing the same mistakes in different styles from different sellers. I have the original genuine version of at least one of those styles dating back to about 2005-06, and the "new" ones definitely all have the same problem. Any time there's flood of cheap keychains, it's a very safe bet that they're fakes. No Coach store has a bunch of 15-year-old styles just sitting in a back room somewhere!

Coach does not sell their items directly to small independent retailers. And they do NOT sell in bulk to wholesalers.

If multiple sellers all have the same items, that's a BIG red flag. If more than one seller is using the same photos, that's another red flag. I see one seller with the same item whose listing says "10 available" and 13 already sold. That's a HUGE red flag!

I'm seeing multiple sellers of at least 8 to 10 recently-listed styles that I recognize from 10 to 15 years ago or even older - did they just fall out of a time machine? Is Doctor Who liquidating his/her Coach keyfob collection?

Fake Coach keychains used to be one of the most common type of Coach fake on Ebay. The authenticators here have seen literally THOUSANDS of them in hundreds of different designs. They used to be sold singly or in batch lots directly from China for as little as 10 dollars each, the rest was pure profit.

Many fake keychains were also loaded with toxic metals like lead and cadmium and were dangerous to handle especially to small children who like to play with or suck on bright sparkly things. DO NOT buy any of those keychains!

MORE OPINIONS ARE WELCOME.

I'm NOT going to post the sellers' names or listing numbers, but there are at least 2 sellers listing exactly the same item (a different keychain than the one being asked about but a copy of one that I personally bought at my regular full-price Coach store in October 2005 and is still in my possession) and using EXACTLY the same photo. There are others with the same item but different photos (which I want to emphasize has been out of production for more than 15 years because the item had a specific year associated with it)

One of them is the seller of the item being questioned.

Seller "a" from Cape Coral FL - 8 available, 13 sold

Seller "b" from Providence, Rhode Island, 4 available, 2 sold (seller "b" also lists the same style using a different photo and claims "More than 10 available")

It looks like fake Coach keyfobs are making a comeback. Fellow authenticators and potential buyers, please take note!

Thank you for the insightful response - glad I was cautious, though after reading your comments, I should've been more suspicious than I was!

I wouldn't buy that item from either seller.

Just a comment on the "other" seller (from Cape Coral, FL) mentioned who has sold dozens of keychains. On November 29, that seller had a fake Coach keychain that was removed.
