• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

It's authentic. I don't know the style name or number.

It looks like a Brief Bag style 5080, made between the very late 1970s and later 1980s, From the Fall 1983 catalog:

FAKE. There are several MAJOR red flags, at least 2 just in the serial number and at least 2 more in what I can see of the hardware.

VERY lucky! Congrats. And it's in beautiful condition, relatively speaking. Please show us your rehab after! Just a side note, was this from the Goodwill in Redmond? I was thinking of going yesterday and didn't. If we were there at the same time, there'd have been a tug-of-war over this bag.

You both live in the PNW? I'm Port Orchard! I work in Tacoma. Most 2nd hand stores here are ridiculously overpriced. You found a good one? Not that I'm going to Redmond to 2nd hand shop (worst commute in the state--lol). I'm just curious.
