Both are authentic. They are similar, but different styles. The first one is a Patricia's Legacy, made in 2001. It has a zipper under the flap and is probably a little heavier and slightly bigger than the other bag, which is a classic pouch made in the 1970s or 1980s.

ETA: that strap repair would be challenging.

I snagged this at my local Goodwill. Based on my search, I think the style is a Casey bag. Can’t quite put my finger on it but something about it feels off. Please take a look and let me know if I’m imagining things. Thanks!

The Goodwill bag is authentic.

It does appear to be a Saddle bag but Goodwill's measurements are different from Coach's. (Coach may have measured across the bottom and Goodwill's measurement may have been across the top.)

Hi! Please help me authenticate my Tabby Top Handle 20 that I bought from a Japanese website. I'm a bit worried that they might be fake.

Honestly, the purse doesn't feel fake. It doesn't smell like chemical or plastic. It smells quite nice actually and the feel of the purse overall is very good quality. The hardware has all the Coach engravings in the right places and feels high quality too. However, I'm still skeptical about its authenticity.

The hardware feels a bit cheap but the overall feel of the bag is great actually. The fabric feels high quality and the leather parts as well. It doesn't smell like plastic or chemical either. But I'm definitely worried coz of the dirt cheap price.

The little yellow leather tag also seems a bit off in color. The one on the official coach website is a bit brighter yellow than the pastel yellow on this purse.

I admit I bought this on a whim coz I saw how cheap it was and I wanted to give a nice purse to my sister for Christmas.

Please help me authenticate this purse. Thanks!

The bag is fake and the listing is typical of the "ring" of crooks I discuss in my warning thread about Japanese sellers.

Please get a refund and if possible, you might want to consider avoiding Japanese resellers.

Unfortunately, the Philippines is another location from which the fakes are very close. And from what I've seen, there are more fakes than authentic items.

If you search "Philippines fakes" in the Coach subforum, there are many posts about the danger of buying from Filippino sellers and sites.

This is another bag I'd recommend returning.
