Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Thanks! Both the No and the G look really strange, and I can't find anything similar even if I go back to the questionable examples with 2000 year codes, they're all different. Not just the serial number details, but the creed details too.That's NOT a good thing.

Hello, Can someone kindly tell me if this bag is authentic? I can't find the kind of style anywhere, and it's from the 80s.

She also received it secondhand but she also wasn't sure. There's YKK zipper. and ID is 0330-001

I have a comment on the seller of the bag, nataliech25.

Apparently, she sold that bag in July but didn't follow through on the sale because she wanted more money than she'd listed for and than she'd agreed to!

This is the previous listing:
and the buyer asking why the sale was canceled.

In my opinion, the seller should have honored the previous sale and if it had been on ebay, the seller would have had a huge account ding! (This is yet another reason why I dislike Poshmark. They let unethical sellers get away with this nonsense!)

Welcome to tPF!

First, YKK zippers in Coaches mean absolutey nothing regarding authentication.That "rule" was proven wrong almost 20 years ago and it's STILL wrong today. Read my signature at the bottom of all my posts.

The bag is genuine and from the early 1990s.

I suggest you read the six Salearea Guides for accurate information on Coach details and dates, the link is Pinned at the top ofevery page in this sub-forum.

I won't comment on the listing in question other than to say that the seller, margo97 is a mixer and I don't recommend. (A mixer is someone who misleads buyers by "earning" trust with some authentic items then ripping others off by selling fakes.)
