Agreed. I told them that.

Also Shop Goodwill finally agreed to refund my money this morning but only because it was packaged poorly.

They smashed it into a way too small plastic mailer and nothing else so on top of being fake it was crushed.

They did NOT acknowledge the bag is fake so it will likely end up right back on their site since they asked me to return it to them in order for me to get a refund.
Ugh! I won't be making any purchases there again.

While we're talking about Shopgoodwill.com, here's a story. They can be very inaccurate in their descriptions sometimes. And that can be useful. They advertised these women's shoes as MEN'S shoes...I got them at a good price--because, I don't think a man would like these shoes. Nor would they fit him at the stated size. Because I could tell by doing my own google image research what they are, "Frederica" style leather loafers for women. The shoes were also brand spanking new and unworn. They didn't mention that in their listing. :) So, do your due dilligence on they things they're selling. There are still incredible good deals to be had.

Yup, that's exactly why I try not to make too much noise when I see fakes at stores. I've purchased genuine Coach bags for $5 on the same day that I've seen fakes in that same store for $40! More than once, I've found LV bags; one for $1.99 (with a cut/shortened strap) and another for $4.99 that I flipped for $499 (after getting it professionally authenticated)!

It is helpful to know your stuff!

1.
Bumping this as I haven't got a reply yet . Please ignore the yellow abbie as it has already been sold since. The black sunglass case, I think is more like a makeup pouch. I went ahead and purchased it since it was cheap. There is no tag inside and the leather is really soft and buttery.
The size is 6.5x4x2. Here are some additional photos I took.
Thank you.

Hello, Authenticators. Would you please take a look at these 2 bags? Both are listed on, ugh, shopgoodwill.com. Thanks for you help.

As posters may have already noticed, I'm NOT recommending buying ANY item from ShopGoodwill.com where Entrupy has "authenticated" the item. ShopGoodwill.com now has a history of refusing to refund after selling confirmed fakes and dodging their legal responsibility by throwing the responsibility back to Entrupy. Entrupy's contract is with Goodwill, NOT the retail buyer and Entrupy as stated in their contracts refuses to get directly involved with the buyer. It is Goodwill's responsibility to refund money paid for fakes and they have refused to do so.

See posts 77676 thru posts 77711 for the history if you haven't already read it:
to

The cheated buyer did finally receive a refund from GW who claimed the refund was because of damaged packaging. They STILL refused to accept responsibility for selling a counterfeit (a felony in the US).

Both bags appear genuine but the Entrupy COA with the first one is meaningless.

What Goodwill is not realizing is that by blindly assuming that Entrupy doesn't err and not accepting and admitting to the potential errors in their COAs, they aren't working with Entrupy and allowing Entrupy to adjust their algorithms so the mistakes don't happen as frequently.

The way AI (artificial intelligence) works (in my simple words) is that a bunch of data is entered into their system. As they receive notifications of errors, they tweak and fine-tune their information, each time adjusting the newly-learned error with the corrected data, thereby reducing the occurrence of similar errors.

AI isn't a one and done. It's an ongoing process requiring constant and consistent updating.

However, by either ignoring or denying the errors, Goodwill is hurting themselves, their reputation, AND that of Entrupy. And because Goodwill and not Goodwill's buyers are clients of Entrupy, those of us who may have been screwed by Goodwill/Entrupy cannot go to Entrupy to point out the tweaking and adjustments that are needed.

Thank you, Google for this simple explanation of how Artificial Intelligence is supposed to work:
"What is self correction in AI?

Self-Correction Processes: This aspect of AI programming is designed to continually fine-tune algorithms and ensure they provide the most accurate results possible.Aug 3, 2021"

Hey Goodwill! Are you reading?
