It's authentic. It was made before Coach used style numbers in the creed so the number is just random. It's style # 4931, made around 1993. I think it is called Sonoma drawstring nubuc.

Help!

This is a Coach bag that belonged to my late grandmother - my aunt has had it since my grandma passed away in 2001, and just passed it on to me. I am obviously not going to sell it - but I would love to know if A. It’s authentic and B. if it is, if it’s possible to figure out when it was made or where or anything really…. We are trying to piece together another part of my grandma’s life and have a story to follow the bag to future generations

Your grandma had good taste. It's an authentic court bag made in 1997 in Italy.

Please authenticate this bag for me. I do not usually use Mercari because I haven’t had good luck with it but here I am.
Vintage Coach Manor 90’s Leather.

Thank you ladies. I hope you are having a good evening.
For some reason, the link isn't working but I found the listing:

The bag is authentic, made in 1995.

ETA: The seller Sisters Closet doesn't verify authenticity.

Someone paid $89 for this fake:

There may be other current and sold fakes but I didn't go through all the pages of Coach items.

I couldn’t get it to work either. Thank you for digging. I appreciate your help.
