Hello, Councillor Miss Nugent, how fortunate I am to run into you! Please DO come to my Candlelight supper a week from Thursday. I have sent invitations to you for my previous Candlelight Suppers but they seem to have gotten lost in the post. If you happen to run into His Majesty, please DO suggest to him that a review of the Royal Mail might be in order. Service has been DREADFUL lately. Our postman boasted to me that he was in a Beatles film when he was a child and it seems to have completely gone to his head.

The handbag is Genuine, from May 1996, Costa Rica. Like my white Slimline telephone with last number re-dial, that bag has no connection to any Continental location, Italian or otherwise. Even if the name "Lafayette Bag" sounds rather French. My husband Richard's family is French, you know.

We did begin to film that one movie with Elizabeth- remember, I referred to your sister as a moll that day. The one I later got drunk with. Rose!- though the police brought Richard home, and, well. Although there was no part in Richard's film, I do feel, well, something, and I accept the invitation to your next candlelight supper. Though maybe a picnic with riparian entertainments is preferable. Do apologize on my behalf to your husband for whacking him in the leg with my stick. Though he was in my way.

Breaks from character: ah, Costa Rica, 1995. I'd love to know how you figured that out! And, a Lafayette bag. So many people call it a Soho Waverly Feed Bag. I was starting to get a bit irritated. But it's part of the Waverly Collection as well as the Forever Collection, I just learned.

I saw this bag and fell in love. I've been wanting it in Mahogany (which looks kind of teak\tropical, so quite fitting).

Thank you, Mrs. Buckét!

I already deleted the creed photo but going from memory the number was E6M-4140? "E"is the month code, 5th month is May. The number "6" is for 1996. And while the M plant code has been used for several different plants in different countries as needed the creed itself says it was made in Costa Rica. The six Salearea Coach Guides explain how to dissect a Coach serial number for bags from 1994 and newer.

And I made your apologies to Richard. His leg is healing nicely, but our week-end visits to Stately Homes in the area have been indefinitely postponed. All those stairs! Richard almost seems relieved, but that must be my imagination.

It's authentic. It isn't called a Rambler. It's a Rambler's Legacy. Rambler is a completely different style.

The last one is fake. Take a good CLOSE look at the wording of the creed.

The first two might be genuine but we'd need photos of the areas mentioned in the READ ME post, as well as measurements.
Thank you! Sorry about the missing info, I was in a hurry and didn’t have a measuring tape with me. I bought a bag that was already authenticated here from this gal and she showed me others she had that I told her I would think about. Although I didn’t catch that wording issue, over all the bag seemed off to me. Thanks again!

It's authentic. If I remember correctly, these reissues had lighter weight leather than the originals.
