Hi Hyacinth,

Just to check with you, does Regina code come in 9985 as well as when I search, most of the code for Regina is 9983? However, I did encounter some with code 9985. Thanks.
Reginas are highly faked so it's recommended that all be looked at before purchasing. Many of the fakes have the "correct" style number.

We have seen genuine Regina bags with 9985 style numbers, in those cases, mistakes made by Coach. The correct style number is 9983.

Thank you in advance for your time helping with this bag I just bought.

Item: Court
Listing number: PoshMark
Seller and site where listed @Marcelo24 on PoshMark

Comments:I purchased this Court bag and it came today. The leather feels different. It also doesn’t have a buckle on the strap but I have a green one that does.

ALL " *9G- " serial number prefixes regardless of the month code (which I represented by an asterisk *) are fake.
NOTE - PLEASE IGNORE THE ABOVE COMMENT.

Coach changed the strap to a buckled version around 1997-98. A genuine Court Bag that still had its original strap would have had a buckled strap, but we never use straps as primary proof of authenticity.

Thank you for this information. Is this one a 9G? I can’t tell.

Comments: I got this cute little bag today. Authentic? The hang tag looks fake to me. The seller didn't share the full creed image with serial no. so I've attached my own photo. What a tiny bag! Measures about 8.5 x 7. ETA: looking the bag over carefully, I'm getting "fake" vibes, some of the stitching is off kilter (the bottom front ends of the straps), and the buckles have a weird surface look, and the little metal piece that goes through the holes looks more elongated and not squarish. The more I look up close and personal with this bag, the more fake it seems. Oh, well. It wasn't a lot of money. Once you experts let me know your opinion, then I'll act. Either "relieved" or "get my money back!"

Sorry, I replied to a different poster also asking about a Court Bag at Poshmark.

I need to see a photo of the creed and serial number from your seller's listing to try to authenticate it, my computer won't open her photos.
I think @Hyacinth quoted the wrong post when she responded. The bag with the "G" plant wasn't trying to be a court bag.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who goofs!

Good evening! I hope everyone here is safe tonight.

I have an odd auth request tonight. I’ve been “spring” cleaning and stumbled across this little bag I bought at a yard sale 20 years ago.
Needless the say I was pretty excited when I pulled it out of the crate.

The leather feels delicious, stitching looks great etc.

But two issues:
1). No creed
2) crappy, failing snap closure.

I would appreciate your thoughts. Is it possible the snap was an “after market” addition?

Possible vintage studio flap 9144
Roughly 7 1/2” x 8”

Thank you in advance

Thanks, BB! :flowers:

I gladly give permission to ANYONE posting here to goof occasionally. I would hate to think that I have a monopoly on making a mistake. It's a rare gift, but I'll gladly share it.

It's the people (fortunately very rare here among us regular Coachies although some are still lurking in the shadows) who REFUSE to ever admit their mistakes who I have a problem with.
