Wondering if anyone can help me with some information about it, year, what did it cost brand new….did I get ripped off Lol

I have no idea what the difference is. There is a note in my files that 9131 might have been made for factory stores. I'm seeing a factory stamp so that might be it. Both are authentic. Small hippie flap.

I agree about 9131 probably being a Factory Outlet version. AFAIK that version has never appeared in any catalog I've seen either, which makes it even more likely that it was "MFF" (Made For Factory).

Someone else will have to look at the Sonoma since my browser doesn't work with Carousell.

The second bag is genuine but the turnlock appears to be a replacement. Coach doesn't use patches of scrap leather to cover up the backs and make it necessary to pull off a glued-on patch to replace the turnlock. The base of the mechanism also looks much too high and doesn't seem to be a very good fit. The rest of the bag is genuine and looks like a style 9875 Pocket Bag.

Thank you for the photos.

It's a genuine Sonoma Small Bucket Zip Nubuc made in 1995. The scrambled serial prefix is fairly common in some vintage bags from the period.

FYI - A Sonoma Natural Grain and a Sonoma Nubuc will not rehab the same way.

Item: Chunky case
Where purchased or how obtained: local flea market
Comments: I cannot find the Coach logo embossed on the body of the bag where supposed to (lower right corner) but seems like there were versions of this chunky case that came without it so wanted to ask for authentication. Hope creed patch is clear enough. I tried to picture it but so hard to get into the crevasse. This one has nickel hardware.

Measurements: 8" x 4.5" x 1"
