There are 2 different styles and style numbers in the photos you included, 51186 and 51156. Which one are you looking for? You can search most effectively by searching for the style number.

Purchased item, all pictures looked authentic, but just received and things dont look correct.

Thought maybe it was dyed darker, but after looking closely, not sure its authentic.

It's a genuine Kit Bag made in 1995. If you have a question or concern about condition for the seller you need to contact them. If you're referring to the white areas along the seams, Coach usually shaved off a few layers of dyed leather along the seams of vintage bags to make them easier to sew.

More opinions are welcome.

I am not an Authenticator, so not going to say the bag is authentic or not. Many of my own authentic vintage Coach bags have similar light coloured area along seams too, it is not an indication to determine real or fake of a Coach bag.
I do some leather craft as a hobby, in order to sew 2 piece leather together, the edge must be skived thinner, to make the sewing easier also less bulky of the seam. In ideal world the leather vintage Coach used was dyed completely through then you won’t see the colour difference at skived area, but it is not always the case. The light colour (even bluish colour) along seams is common for real Vtg Coach bags.

I have no idea what the difference is. There is a note in my files that 9131 might have been made for factory stores. I'm seeing a factory stamp so that might be it. Both are authentic. Small hippie flap.
