BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Court Bag from an Etsy seller and today I received the bag but it is completely different from what I saw in the pictures. Even the creed totally different. A Court bag supposed to have 9870 as style number but the one I got is 2114 :facepalm: It is a reputable shop that I purchased this from and words cannot describe my disappointment. Could you look at the pictures I took of the bag I received and tell me if it is a fake or not.

Listing number: 225127666190
Seller and site where listed: ne.vtg.finds / ebay

I purchased this one w/o doing much homework at all and despite a red flag (seller did not respond to my questions), basically because it was a deal. After the fact, I did a search on the seller, and it looks like ne.vtg.finds has a mixed record here.

The bag you received is authentic, although not the same as one pictured in the listing. It is older than the bag pictured - made before 1994 so the number is a random serial number rather than containing the style number. It appears the seller used the same listing details as a bag she sold last February, which seems shady to me. It looks shiny - I don't know if that is just unabsorbed conditioner or if something else was used on it. If that stain on the bottom doesn't clean off, I would consider returning for a full refund.

Although the seller has had fakes, the wallet you bought is authentic! Nice find.

In trying to find how the seller made that mistake, I went searching through birdsandskylines's other listings.

Although I haven't (yet) found another Court bag that was listed or sold, I did find that birdsandskylines has this fake.

Someone is going to pay $165 for this one:

There's no other court bag listed or sold so I have no clue where the creed pic in the listing came from.
