Hello, please help with a very sensitive situation...

First, let me say that the item I'm trying to authenticate is not a lot of money, but it's a style that I just love to carry when i vacation so I want to make sure it's authentic. From my little knowledge, i looked over all photos before purchasing and it looked ok; but i see an issue now that i have it in my hands.

I purchased from a seller whom I think is an authenticator here; this is the sensitive part. The sell site doesn't allow for msg communication between buyer and seller so I don't want to post any comments that the world can see if this item happens to be real; I just need another authenticators opinion. The issue is with the inside coloring shown in the picture.
I'm not the seller of the bag you've asked about but wanted to comment and hope I can alleviate your discomfort.

I can speak for myself but I suspect that other sellers (and the authenticators) feel similarly. As a seller, I am never offended when a buyer wants to do her due diligence, either before or after a sale and wants to verify authenticity or have concerns addressed.

I'd rather have a buyer be reassured and find out either that concerns aren't an issue and that an item is indeed authentic or in a case where I (or another seller) may have made a mistake, I'd feel absolutely awful to find out that I sold a fake and would certainly want it brought to my attention.

Please don't ever feel guilty for asking questions. Honest sellers want educated buyers and most aren't or shouldn't be offended when listings are questioned.

I hope this makes you feel better. :)

It does...thank you so much for that reply; I needed that today

The site I used does not allow you to communicate directly with a seller until after the purchase. I get the reasoning why the site does this, but there are times when the feature is really needed...Oh well, what can you do???

Back when what is now considered vintage coach was being sold in stores, I couldn't afford them, but here i am like a kid in a candy storebtrying to buy up all the ones I wanted from my past. I am thankful I found this site and thankful to you and all the other authenticates that take the time to help those like me.

Hi everyone!

I'm looking at a burgundy city bag on poshmark. I know poshmark doesn't have the best reputation for authentication, can someone please take a look? Thank you so much in advanced!

Item: coach burgundy city bag
Listing number: I don't think poshmark has listing numbers
Seller and site where listed: julianorth on poshmark
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-vintage-maroon-crossbody-purse-63120553bd0629d05538f35f
Comments: It's a bit worn but I've been looking for a purse in this color and style for a while.

Please post a copy of the seller's creed and serial photos from the listing. What I see in the first 5 photos has me a bit concerned.
I'm quite anti-Poshmark but I am willing to help on occasion.

Here's the creed that Hyacinth isn't able to see. The bag looks fine to me.

ETA: Sorry. I think this was answered hours ago and I didn't finish reading before posting.

I'm not the seller either. What site is it? There is a way to have a private conversation on a purchased item on Poshmark.

On Mercari, made in Turkey, excellent condition Willis from 2003, code starts with a J so that has me worried. Is it authentic?

Yes, it was Poshmark. I'm new to the Poshmark site but I looked around several places but couldn't find that option; I also searched the FAQ's and it said that option was only available after purchase; which I thought was strange, lol. Good to know for future purchases, thank you.

I bought this off of Facebook Marketplace. I think it’s probably fake based on my research but I wanted to be certain before I told the seller.

If the seller demands to know why it's fake:

Coach has never made handbags, wallets or briefcases in Korea.

Invalid serial number.

"Coachbag"should never be just one word

Fake Coach stamps on hardware never used by Coach

Fake non-Coach turnlock

Incorrect construction details

Horrible lack of correct punctuation in creed

There's NOTHING right about that bag.

ALWAYS HAVE FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE ITEMS AUTHENTICATED HERE BEFORE YOU BUY!
