Seller kerryjp72

The bag in question is authentic but the seller has had a history of mixing fakes and authentic among various sites.

Ebay ID: kerryjp72
Poshmark ID: feelsfree
Etsy ID: FeelsFree

Here's a recent post pointing out several fakes she had recently:
Thank you so much, BeenBurned! Sorry, I forgot to include the seller ID.

Hello authenticators. I spotted this on the Goodwill site but have read () that a creed serial number with just two letters to the left of the hyphen indicates a fake. Would you mind taking a look? Thank you very much for your expertise.

Please authenticate this Madison Copley style# 4414.

The photos look ok to me so I purchased it. Seller is : natsuyo_japan, she has 100% positive feedbacks.

It raised red flag for me after finding multiple listings of the identical bag from different sellers (see attached listing links). I contacted seller to inquire about one multi listing, now the listing I purchased showing “ 1 sold , 1 available “ . Is it possible to edit after a listing is sold? . Yet they still use the same photos. Also seller messaged me to let me know it will take 15 business days for her to ship out the bag, I can add more bags anytime before that.

Anyone dealt with this seller before?

Thanks.

Listing I purchased:

Some Other listings, I believe there’s more

Thanks again @whateve for authenticate this bag, but I most likely won’t receive it. In case anyone else who might wondering why so many listings of the same bag from different Japanese sellers, I can’t say it for sure but a high possibility is just scamming.

In the listing it said shipping within 5 to 15 business days, it was paid on July 29th, it finally marked as shipped on Aug 21st. But no tracking number provided, the seller sent me a message the same day to inform me it was shipped and “tracking number is: “, she left the space for tracking number vacant.
I sent her 2 messages 2 days apart to inquire about the tracking numbers, got no response for days. Together with other red flags such as multiple listings, unreasonable long time to just ship out a bag, so by the end of 4th day I opened an “ Item not received case”. Seller responded the open case immediately, said she forgot to get a shipping confirmation with the shipping company, she contacted them and will get the number in a business day, then she asked me to close the case and wait.
She is a long time seller so definitely know once a case is closed, it can not be reopened again for any reason, another huge red flag asking buyer to close the case before issue is resolved (of cause I ignored her request and told her I will close it once received the actual bag). The latest message from her indicate DHL will be investigating what happened but will take time for a formal investigation. Still no tracking number. I plan to ask EBay to step in on Sep 1st, and asking for refund. Just glad it is eBay transaction that a purchase is protected.

I believe seller is scamming, I only noticed the multiple listings after the purchase, quite possitive she changed the quality to two with one being sold after I contacted her with another identical listing ( usually uable to edit a sold listing but maybe she has a way?), she waited 15 businesse days ( minus weekends and Japanese holiday) to mark it as shipped, buyers with lots of eBay purchase may lose track what’s coming, then asked me to close the case before issue resolved.

She had 100% positive feedbacks at time of my purchase, now she has 3 negative all in past month, wondering if those negative feedbacks will disappears in future ( maybe she knows how to, many of the feedbacks listing titles are not available )

Another warning about “free shipping “ from overseas, it may be free or very cheap for seller if they use DHL, DHL will just add the cost into “Custom Duty Tax”, as a service fee to collect the Tax. It is not free for buyer. I once had a bag ordered from Europe, it is delivered by DHL with ridiculous service fee for Custom Tax. I can’t even refuse it as the return shipping is very expensive and will be deducted from the refund.

You're correct. The bag is fake. TN and NT prefixes are only on fake items.

You can try warning the Goodwill site but don't hold your breath while waiting for them to end the listing and dispose of the item.
In fact, shopgoodwill on its own site as well as various ebay locations regularly sell fakes, many with inaccurate "COAs" included. Goodwill puts too much faith in the infallibility of the services they use and deny that items are fake.

I'll try to be optimistic that they respond appropriately this time.

The "good" thing is that you are protected if the item doesn't arrive as long as you don't close the case. (I've found that Chinese sellers and Japanese sellers are notorious for making promises to do some after cases are closed as well as offering partial refunds for fakes, as if partials will turn a fake into a genuine item.

As a buyer, you have wonderful protection as long as you don't relinquish it!

Thanks . Yes it feels really good knowing my purchase is fully protected by EBay. I really doubt the bag is shipped, 9
days since the supposed shipping still no tracking number, if a package do arrive after refund, I am just going to refuse it so it can be send back to seller with whatever inside.

Refusing the package after you've received a refund is okay but NEVER refuse a package before a refund. Refusal and RTS (return to sender) is considered to be delivered and the buyer loses protection and their MBG (money back guarantee) when it's done.

There aren't enough photos to identify it. We need measurements, and photos of the front with the flap closed and open showing any pockets under the flap AND whether it was flat or gusseted, whether the back of the bag has a slip pocket or not, and a photo of the inside showing the construction of any inside pockets and whether they were open or zipped. A photo of the outside base showing any center or corner seams would also help.
Sorry it took this long....I threw the bag in a closet & forgot about it . Here are the additional pictures with measurements. Hopefully this helps identify the name. There is no flap it just zips close and has 2 front slip pockets and 1 interior slip pocket. Thank you again
