Is anyone able to tell me if this looks like real snakeskin? View attachment 5583279View attachment 5583281
I'm not an authenticator however I do have 2 snake skin bags. The real way to tell is by touch. If it's smooth to the touch then it's embossed, if it's prickly with little tiny spiky edges sticking up then it's real. Scales. You could also get out of magnifying glass and just look at it really closely. The little corner pieces of the scales visibly stick up if it's genuine.

Hi authenticators! I appreciate your time and any possible help.
Item: Large? Plaza
Seller and site where listed:jrubin on depop

*I had to ask the seller for a picture of the creed, it’s blurry so I completely understand if this is one you can’t help me with. Thank you!

It looks good to me but more opinions are welcome.
I agree that it's fine.

Hi all,

Greatly appreciate if someone can help authenticate this bag. Also is it normal to have a different pebble like texture at the bottom and smooth surface on the flap? Thank you!

Item: Vintage Coach clutch
Where purchased or how obtained: estate sale
Comments: measurements 10.25" (L) x 6.5" (H) 2.5" (D)

It's fine.

Although we aren't allowed to promote our own items, it's my understanding that if there's a question of authenticity of one of our own items, we're allowed to post it here. I received a message from a buyer who wants to return a bag.

Her comment was "Why would you think this is a Coach purse? Its not. I need to return it please. This has no characteristics of a Coach, and the tag doesnt belong on this purse, the inside is different the leather is different sorry need to return it."

If it's a remorse return, I have no issue with accepting but to be accused of either selling a fake or using a hangtag to imply "Coach" is painful.

If it's reassurance she wants, perhaps a look here by the other authenticators will give her comfort. (I did respond to the dispute, even showing other listings for the same bag including one of the same color with the same hangtag.)

Please help verify. TIA.

The bag is authentic, made in 1998.

We really can't advise on price since there are so many variables such as color, demand, condition, availability, etc. An item is worth what a willing buyer thinks it's worth.

I recommend searching various sites to see what the same style, color and similar condition bags have sold for.

Genuine Mambo Hobo made in 1998.

We don't comment or give opinions on price unless there's a possible problem.

I'm getting one of those infamous "We found something similar" notices on the listing that came up. Is that your listing?

Mine was the ended listing. Does this bring up the listing?
