Comments: Comparing to other D8D bags posted in the past, I suspect this one to be fake. An expert opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It's not D8D, it's supposed to be D0D- according to the Entrupy certificate but it's one of the most poorly stamped serial numbers I've seen. I believe it's genuine but wouldn't advise buying it for resale, you'd have potential buyers also questioning that serial number.

It actually looks more like D9D- to me but again, the serial is almost unreadable. I'd steer clear of it just for that reason. It's also a very small bag, 8x6 inches. I mentioned another example of that style and size within the last 2 weeks, it's just too small to be practical and will barely hold a small cell phone because it's also flat and about the size of what's probably still called a Steno Pad notebook. It would probably be ok as a rehab project but as an everyday bag or a bag to eventually re-sell, it's pretty much useless. There's a good reason it's called a MINI Hippie. Here's what I said about another 9142 barely 10 days ago:

It doesn't look very green to me either.

Good Afternoon authenticators. My sister just gave me this bag she picked up at the thrift store this morning for 2.99. Would you be so kind as to tell me if it’s authentic and possibly year it was made.

Dear authenticators, would you please tell me if this is the real deal ?
Item: Vintage Authentic Coach Brown Leather Purse
Seller and site where listed: shopmariongoodwill on ebay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/165504334747
Comments: Not really what I'm looking for (all the Spences are already collected), but might make a good rehab project ? Though I do not yet know what to do about those rubbed edges.
The bag shown in the listing is authentic but beware.

shopmariongoodwill uses entrupy for their authentications and several days ago, had several fakes that were deemed to be authentic. Listings were finally removed but whether shopmariongoodwill does anything to make the "artificial intelligence" company aware of mistakes, I don't know.

It's authentic and is a top handle pouch. In this case, the creed sans serial number is correct for the style.

Thank you @BeenBurned for your help. I have been pretty good about checking for sellers here on the PurseForum, but shopmariongoodwill got by me. Will keep the purse in mind, but not keen on buying from a seller that refuses to do some checking before offering their merchandise, as they must by now know that entrupy cannot be trusted.

The sad thing is that Goodwill IS attempting to do due diligence and either doesn't believe that mistakes are being made worse, now recognizes errors but ignores them.

Since I don't have a shopgoodwill account nor am I interested in the various ebay Goodwill sellers, I haven't contacted them to let them know that they need to reconsider the companies they use. In fact, a pet peeve and why I REFUSE to shop on the shopgoodwill website is that you can't even contact them without opening an account, thereby disclosing tons of personal information they have no need to have!

Found this guy at the he thrift store what do you guys think? Something is off
