Thank you and be safe!

Thank you both so much for the quick reply! I just got nervous because when I gave coach the serial number, they said it was made in 2013... But the serial number says 14. Maybe they just made more at the beginning of 2014.
Just a little side note, don't do yourself a disservice by calling Coach or asking store associates anything about authenticity. They are the least knowledgeable!

This shows that Coach doesn't even teach its employees how to decode serial numbers!

I bought these sunglasses on Amazon to replace exact same Jasmine glasses I recently lost. They arrived with what appears to be fake case, cloth, and info booklet. Which makes me believe that the glasses themselves are fake as well.
I contacted the seller but received a bs reply. They're saying that glasses are bought directly from Luxottica, the glasses manufacturer in US. I read on Coach website that Coach doesn't deal with small retails. The seller agreed to accept return but wants me to pay for shipping. Well..... I don't mind paying for return IF, for example, I want to return shoes that are too small. BUT! I didn't expect to buy and then having to return counterfeit glasses from an Amazon seller! This is frustrating.....
Anyways.... Can anyone confirm if these sunglasses fake? Thank you!

Your pictures are too small. Please post larger pictures and include pictures of the writing on the insides of both arms.

FYI, Luxotica does make Coach's (and just about every other designer's) eyeglasses, both OTC and Rx-ready.

No comment on authenticity but if you do determine these are fake contact amazon CS directly and they will probably refund you and take care of shipping too. Don't know if they bill back the seller or how that works.

There was an interesting story on 60 Minutes about this. It's nearly a monopoly. If I remember correctly, Costco is about the only place to buy frames that are not made by Luxottica, hence the lower prices.

PLEASE don't contact Amazon unless and until the glasses are deemed as fake. (Although the pictures are way too small to see much, I will say that I don't see any red flags.)

Until more pictures are posted and the sunnies (and accessories) are authenticated, neither the seller nor Amazon should be contacted.

There was just a discussion on this subject a few days ago. Although the buyer edited her posts, before editing her posts and before authenticating, she accused the seller of selling fakes and contacted amazon.
The discussion starts here:

There are a few other places where they don't sell glasses made by Luxotica too but TBH, other brands are crap!

My husband bought glasses from Visionworks, another large chain and the quality just doesn't compare to Luxotica. Even Luxotica's non-designer brands are better than anything we saw at Visionworks. In the first year of his using his glasses from Visionworks, they were replaced 4 times for quality issues! And this is an adult man who is NOT rough on glasses.

I know this is OT and I apologize but IMO, although a monopoly, Luxotica makes quality products.

Hi everyone! I have a few recent thrift purchases for authentication. TIA!

Coach Madison Sabrina Ashley Leather Bag 12949
16" x 10" x 6"

I found all these different names associated with this bag in various listings online-- can someone please tell me the real name? Also is this considered "whiskey" color or something else?
