very fake

Nothing but CHEAP GARBAGE and they don't even LOOK like genuine Coaches!

Don't look for online bargains unless it's a LEGITIMATE retailer like Macy's or Dillard's or a branch of a major online store like 6PM is to Zappo's or Nordy's Rack is to Nordstrom.

There's a list posted on Coach's website showing who their retail partners are.

.....................................

Always research a site before you even think of buying from them. If you had looked a little deeper into that scamming website with all those supposedly great deals you would have found a URL for another site it's connected to, and checking that other site would have taken you here:

www.thefinestyle.com

It's a genuine Brighton Bag, style 9895 made in the early 1990s.

Searching by using a serial number is useless when the entire serial number is made up of all numbers and no letters. The Salearea Coach Guides explain why:

Is it possible to authenticate a pony scarf without any tags? I purchased this on Tradesy a while ago.

It seems okay although I'd like to see the reverse signature side of the polka dot section that is shown.

This is the reverse:
I don't see anything that indicates it's anything but authentic. Most pony tail scarves have a lozenge logo on one lower side but it's not on all. (I looked through my own items and there are some without the logo.)

There certainly are fake Coach scarves but those I've seen are obviously cheap fakes.

If you bought this scarf, I think you're fine. Other opinions are welcome. Perhaps someone might even have a style number for it.
