Can you please tell me if this bag is authentic? TIA
Willis bag 205-5538
no item number or listing number
caecae09
Poshmark

I DON"T recommend buying that bag!

It can't be authenticated for the simple reason that I don't believe the creed and serial photo is from that Willis.

If you're the buyer, I suggest that you contact the seller and ask her to confirm the serial and creed photo by taking a new photo directly from the bag, not from her photo files. A genuine Willis should never have a Made In New York City creed.

ETA - It's possible that, since she has other black Coaches for sale, she posted the wrong photo to her listing. But I'm not willing to authenticate anything unless the photos include the actual creed photos from the bag being sold.

Can you please tell me if this bag is authentic? I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much in advance.

A client was given this bag by her daughter who has since passed away. Measurements: 18" across the top, 14" across the bottom, 10" height, 5" side (bottom).

Do you think this is authentic? Thans!
Scooter bag with no Creed? I'm suspicious.

When did the Willis first go into production?

Until that seller clarifies her problem with the Willis creed in the previous posts, I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from her. I won't authenticate any highly faked style without a creed photo. It's up to her to clear up the problem with incorrect and missing creed photos.

Your link is the private link to your purchase.

Is this the bag you bought from auntinoknows? You are correct. It's fake.

And it's not the only fake from the seller. (There are probably more than the following, but I stopped going through them):

I'm pretty sure this bag isn't Coach:

Hi Been Burned,
The seller may give me a refund if Poshmark allows it. She asked how you know that it’s a fake Coach. What should I tell Poshmark?

The style 9061 is actually called a Rambler's LEGACY. "Rambler" or "Rambler Bag" is a different and older style, 9735.

From an August 2004 Wayback Machine scan of Coach's website:

Thank you Hyacinth!!! I read through the Salesguides Beenburned suggested. They are very informative. Thank you for posting that for us! @BeenBurned thank you for the link!!!

Hi Authenticators,
I was going to wait and ask tomorrow but then I saw a post today for a Rambler's Legacy with almost the same serial number so I thought maybe it's a good sign. I appreciate your help whenever it's convenient. Thank you!

I feel even more strongly than @Hyacinth about both the seller caecae09 and Poshmark. I not only don't recommend the Willis but I don't recommend caecae09.

As Hyacinth pointed out, the creed in the "Willis" listing probably doesn't belong to that bag.

Other listings for different bags have the same creed picture shown in them. (There are 2 listings of each of 2 bags, all with the same creed picture:
and
and
and

And she also has other bags that are fake:

Seller doesn't have a clue. This bag is described as being made in 1970. Although authentic, it was made in 2001 NOT 1970!

Don't buy from caecae09.
