Hi Authenticators,
I bought this Coach Belted Pouch as a fixer upper, and liked the color And fear now that it may be a fake.

Item: Vintage Coach
Seller and site where listed: auntinoknows on Poshmark
Link: https://poshmark.com/order/purchases/624ccf89eb7812a3e7f1ebcb
Comments: I should have asked before buying. Im concerned that The bag has a stamp “SOLID BRASS” on the back of the front front buckle that I noticed after dunking it. It’s a silver tone buckle, not brass. After seeing that, the “c” for where it was made, the font used in the Creed all have me concerned now. I don’t blame the seller. She doesn’t specialize in Coach. I should have submitted here it first. And if it is a fake, what should I do with it to get it out of circulation? Should we bin the fakes?

Is this the bag you bought from auntinoknows? You are correct. It's fake.

And it's not the only fake from the seller. (There are probably more than the following, but I stopped going through them):

I'm pretty sure this bag isn't Coach:

I can't BELIEVE anyone bought that last one from auntinoknows . Even though she hid half the creed and the Made In Korea line, the remaining part of the creed still has the infamous "gibberish" stamping. There's NO WAY the seller didn't know it was fake!

Here's the partial creed from the auntinoknows listing on Poshmark:

And here's the COMPLETE version from another Korean fake listing:

I wouldn't touch ANY "Coach" from auntinoknows on Poshmark with a ten-foot pole. She knows there are fakes and doesn't give a fat rat's arse.

I think you should let her know.....maybe she'll be shamed into doing right by refunding you, especially if she knows she's been discussed here. *wink*

Seller should be able to get a good creed picture by moving the flap pocket with the creed outside the bag.

Hi, thank you for the response. I’m super bummed about the brown leather crossbody being a fake. Especially bc I’ve already paid for it so now I’ll just have to dispute it with my credit card company, most likely. Can you tell me anything that stood out and let you know it was fake? Was it the number? I should have checked before purchasing so that’s totally on me.

Also, for the crossbody listing on FB marketplace, this was the picture provided:
