Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Thank you Whateve. Something weird happened when i soaked the bag with some dishwashing liquid and warm water. Some parts of the colour peeled off like rubber. I just rubbed with my fingers and the paint just roll off. The paint should be faded but not peeled off, right?
So now, my bags has patches of underneath layer.
The strap is grainy and when i rubbed it, it came off like sand.
I guess this bag is a gone case.
Btw, i use the same method with my court bag and it turned out well.

It shouldn't peel off. That sounds like someone painted it, and what is coming off is the paint. The original dye of the bag should still be there. You may have to work hard to remove all the paint. I don't think it is a lost cause. Show pictures on the rehab club thread so you can get more advice.

Although the bag is probably okay and although one of the pictures shown was stolen from Coach's site, I wouldn't buy from the seller. Note that even with that policy, if the item you buy from him is different than described, his "Sold as is, No return or exchange" is out the window.
