Hello friends! I could use some help. I’m driving home after a day of thrifting and I’m starting to doubt the authenticity of the coach I found. The leather is just soo soft that it makes me think it’s not real haha.

So, not too sure about this one. I just received it. Leather feels thin, stiff and gritty. Made in India tag. Lining is plain black fabric. The entire wallet is lined, except for the thin leather checkbook cover. Solid lining, no logo or C's. Logos stamped on wallet and checkbook cover are a little puffy and have a shiny background. Weirdest leather I have ever handled.

Oic. So it was made that way. First time seeing this type of corners. Was about to return it but now I will just keep it. Thank you Hyacinth.

The corners are like that to allow for expansion, I believe. This is the only style I remember having those.
