It's authentic but not a Janice. It's a Legacy zip made in 2000.

Item: Coach scooter in bone? 1996

Where purchased or how obtained
Comments: Poshmark. Creed is inside front pocket. I think that is normal for small bags? The creed seems small to me, similar to what I just had on some worth bags. The Coach hang tag is split but I think that’s normal? The bag seems to be in great condition. Some marks from the hardware on the creed. Corners need cleaning.

Thanks for the help again! I just went to keep making sure I’m getting authentic ones.

Comments: I like this bag. However, they mentioned something "shiny" on the surface. Shoe polish? I've read here that that's not good. The hardware on the turnlock looks wonky. A replacement? Is the bag itself authentic?. If so, I know I can clean it up and make it beautiful.
You don't want that bag from papagrgo. It's fake.

I wonder if the blurry creed picture is intentional. The serial number doesn't show but I'm positive that I'm seeing that it's made in Korea. (The female part of the turnlock closure is missing too though on a genuine bag, that's replaceable.)
The shape of the male part of the turnlock is totally wrong too, it's not just wonky. That "shiny surface" warning just by itself is worrying. "Elephant-skin" stretch marks all over the underflap pocket, an inside pocket zipper pull stamped "COACH" which you should never see in any vintage bag except maybe for genuine Sonomas, and a style that doesn't match any vintage bag I'm familiar with. And @BeenBurned is 100 percent correct that the creed says Made In Korea.

NOTHING can make that Korean POS beautiful. I hope you're not the "lucky" buyer.

Please have Poshmark items authenticated before buying.

And I strongly suggest to everyone that, if possible, listing photos be examined with a full-feature computer or laptop rather than just a phone before deciding to buy. The more expensive the bag is, the more important it is to examine all photos as closely as possible.
Thank you. OK my experiment with looking at poshmark as a sourcing space is concluded.
Thank you!!
It doesn't hurt to post on the seller's listing (especially if you were the buyer) that the bag is fake and illegal to sell.
I did as you suggested. I put the comment there on the listing and said it's illegal to sell this it's counterfeit.
And as expected, she denied that she sells fakes.

(Am I surprised? Not at all!)

ETA: Feel free to refer her here!
At least, they canceled my order before shipping.
DO NOT BUY FROM POSHMARK SELLER papagrgo

Even after the sale was canceled because the bag is fake, she denied it as counterfeit, claims she doesn't sell fakes and she relisted the bag!

OK, so now I'm scared about Poshmark. I had already bought this one, too, without asking you all to take a peek. If you're willing, please take a look and let me know if you think the bag is authentic. Thank you!

Your experience with papagrgo is one of the reasons why I don't authenticate, support, promote or recommend Poshmark.

Maybe one of the other authenticators will comment.

Although I'm not commenting or recommending the listing in question, I have a comment about another of bellahexchange's listings.

This is fake so at best, she's an unknowing mixer. At worst, she hopes to earn your trust and sneaks fakes in hoping buyers won't catch them.
