Comments: The pictures aren't great on this, and there wasn't much of a description.

Question: I have a dinky bag in British Tan that I purchased decades ago at a retail store myself as a teen (I can still remember the thrill of that purchase and the smell of the store, which was mostly/all leather bags!). The creed and the numbers on it were never deeply imprinted and now are quite faded. While I don't have a particular interest in selling or trading it at all right now, I am thinking that if I do at some point, it will be deemed a fake due to this issue. Should I be at all concerned?

!- There's no photo of the creed and serial number in the first one and we have to be able to read that information to authenticate. It also looks like there might be a LOT of color transfer, possibly dye from something denim, and that's almost impossible to remove. Both are serious issues and I can't recommend buying without those creed pics and a closer look at what seems to be color transfer. High gloss leathers like light colored patent leather are especially prone to that kind of damage.

2- Again, no photo of the creed or serial number. I'm not even sure if there IS a creed stamp or patch, I don't see one on the inside and if it doesn't have one there's no way to be sure it's even a Coach. There's absolutely no way I'd recommend buying that one either with what I'm seeing. Or NOT seeing. And I can't understand why a real Coach of that size wouldn't seem to have any inside pockets.

We never NEVER recommend buying a "Coach" without a clear readable creed and serial number photo unless there's a darned good reason why it doesn't have one, such as size or age.

MORE OPINIONS ARE WELCOME

I can't comment on the Dinky without seeing photos, especially of the details listed in the Posting requirements - the READ ME post at the top of each page.
For the black bag, there is an inside pocket. The picture of the inside shows the pocket pulled out. There could be a creed on the other side of that pocket.

Comment: I can't find this anywhere. Was this an overseas exclusive?
I've seen it in blue. I don't remember seeing it in red but it could have been an exclusive.

Hello, all! Happy Sunday.

I'm looking into replacement hang tags and am wondering about IDing fakes. This Poshmark listing from 1prettybird2, for example, has 3 to choose from, but I don't know where to begin evaluating whether it's worth spending money on any listing's tags, let alone this one's. Apologies if there's a resource for this somewhere that I've missed...

The listing:

Thanks, as always.
I don't see a problem with any of them.

There isn't a resource for this, as far as I know. The best thing is to compare them to hangtags you have from the same era. Once I saw one that looked perfect except the name went the wrong direction, like it was printed upside down.

Wondering if either of these two JRT keychains are genuine - I've not seen the signature "coat" on the dog before. When I search, there is one noted in the Fake Hall of Fame thread, but it's so old, I am only guessing based on the url address details that it was a similar style since the links are no longer valid. I'm guessing these are fake, but just want to be sure.

Thank you in advance!

The first one with the blue coat is fake. And one of those 2-piece white and brown boxes is a dead giveaway.

I'm going to tag @BeenBurned to look at the second one, she's had a lot of experience with that style and Mercari doesn't work well with my computer
Both are fake.

ETA:
Seller #2, RosieBugsOutlet on Mercari is another mixer.

These are other fakes from RosieBugsOutlet :

Sorry, I don't have any kind of database saved for vintage hangtags. I'll ask @whateve to take a look.

Seller 1prettybird2 is another Poshmark mixer.
