Thank you! I finally got to visit my grandpa after all of the snow and ice storms here the past couple months. It was windy but the sun was shining so I brought my bags up top

What state does he live in? You don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable. It looks pretty flat so my first guess would be Florida or maybe the Carolinas. I'd kill for a view like that from our balcony but I'd want more trees.

If I could get some help authenticating this that would be great! Thought this was a great deal and look at the thrift but now not convinced it’s real, especially reading how they are frequently faked.

Please let me know if you require any more photos!

Item: Taft
Where purchased or how obtained: thrift store

“Coach Brown leather cross body purse“
listing #: 134026763315
seller and site: texasvi9-eBay
link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/134026763315

Thanks!
The listing doesn't have a picture of the creed. We need that in order to authenticate it.

There aren't any measurements either so we can't even try to guess what it's supposed to be. All we can see is some kind of bag with a zipped top, which could describe a third of Coach's handbag inventory between 1980 and 2000. Or a generic bag that sort of copied a Coach design.

If you can get a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number, front and back photos, and a set of measurements, we can take another look. But the seller's photos just don't give us anything to work with. I'd also like to see a close-up of the top zipper leather pull tab, it doesn't look right. And a measurement for that strap, it looks awfully long and there's no way to shorten it except to tie a knot in it or have a shoemaker or leather craftsman cut it down.

ETA - I don't like the stitching of the binding around the sides and bottom either, and the colors of the hardware don't seem to match well. In fact the more I look at it, the more uncomfortable I get.

If it is a carnival bag, the seller may not realize there is a creed. It would be inside of the outer pocket.

Hello can you please authenticate this?!

sorry the creed is upside down lol. I’m worried because of the 3rd pic- the ring has indents but the rest feels/looks good… I think!

Sorry, it's fake. Where did you get it?
Mercari darn in. It’s not possible it could have been replaced?! Lol wishful thinking here. I obviously didn’t notice that in the ad pics. Oh well lesson learned.
Please post a link to the Mercari listing.

Are you asking whether the the turnlock plate was replaced? It's irrelevant. The bag is fake and the creed has an invalid serial number. (The prefix is K3H, not K6H as you said.)

If you bought it, open a dispute and get a refund. Don't eat the loss.
