Sorry, it's fake. The plant code "T" isn't valid for any US plant that I've ever seen. It apparently was only used for a very short time by a Costa Rica plant. There;s also a problem with the turnlock.

The strap doesn't look like it matches either.

It's a genuine Madison Gracie Bag but I don't see the shoulder strap or any mention of it.

I don't know how familiar you are with the older Madisons, but most of their long shoulder straps can't just be replaced by a standard strap with a clip. The straps usually attach or connect under the top of the flap, and there's no way of getting a replacement from Coach since the bag was made in 1996.

Here are a few pics showing the Gracie and how the long strap was attached:

I obtained this yesterday at the local thrift store. It's in incredibly good condition so I'm hoping it's authentic. Size is approximately 11" across by 8" tall by 4" or so across the bottom. A050-9790. Please and thank you for letting me know if it's authentic.

It's a genuine City Bag made in 2005, so it's not quite "vintage"yet. Three years to go!

Hi experts- I’ve received the bag from the auction but it looks like the seller sent me a completely different bag! The hardware is silver (nickel?) and the creed does not match at all!

Both bags are genuine but the seller did send you a different Soho Bag than the one in the listing photos.

Coach started making silver-color hardware available on the Soho line gradually through 1997. I think Black was available in either color towards the end of the year. If you wanted the Brass hardware you need to contact the seller and explain that was the one you wanted.
