It was wrong to accuse the seller of selling a fake unless you were sure. I don't think you should have both the money and the bag. You have ruined that seller's reputation, and possibly her business, on a suspicion. You should have asked for an authentication before accusing anyone.

The existence of a dustbag does not make a bag authentic. This style was made for factory stores. Most items made for factory stores and most smaller purses don't come with dustbags.

I don't see anything wrong with the bag. More opinions are welcome.

When you say, "More opinions are welcome", you mean from the other experts, so I hope you don't mind me chiming in.
I have that same bag in teal. I bought it personally from an outlet store. It was the one featured on the PurseForum's January 9 Roundup. Here are photos of mine showing the areas of concern, as well as the tag inside the zipper pocket:

It's always helpful when someone has the identical bag and can show pictures that prove authenticity (or non-authenticity.)

Thank you for posting your pictures.

eBay item number:

The seller is: rrossi1776

I am very new to this. I've read that the stitching should be even. On the fourth picture, when you zoom in, the stitching on the front of the bag doesn't seem even. Is this normal? I'm interested in this purse, and not accusing anyone, just trying to learn what to look for and so on. Also, I don't know how to check the numbers on these purses. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I know almost NOTHING about authenticating ANY good purse. Again, thank you.

For a LOT more information and FACTS, not lies and nonsense, about Coach and its so-called "rules", you really need to read the 1 percent of Coach guides that ARE accurate, including information on all the nonsense found in that other 99 percent and WHY it's wrong. If you're just starting off with Coach, at least start off with accurate information - and delete and forget about the wrong information you already found.

Start with the six Salearea Coach Guides, and pay speciall attention to the ones on YKK zippers and on Authenticity Guide myths:

Checking the numbers can only tell you if a bag is fake, it can't tell you anything about whether it's genuine (and checking them is a lot more effective at some sites than at others). That's where the experts on this forum come in. A "Coach" bag can be fake and still have a "correct" serial number.

If you have any questions about what's in the Salearea Guides, just ask. And please read my Signature in purple that's under every one of my posts.

Do you think Amazon gave you a refund and didn't take the money away from the seller? Do you think there aren't any consequences to the seller on Amazon? Don't you think that Amazon might forbid that seller from selling in the future because of your actions?

If you knew anything about Coach, you would know that the brand of zipper means nothing. Contrary to some bad information you might find on the internet, Coach hasn't always used YKK zippers. They have used many brands throughout the years and we never use the zipper brand to authenticate.

The creed looks like all the creeds Coach has made recently. If you have a chance, go to a store and look at the creeds in the Coach bags, or just look at these listings for the same bag on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...0.Xcoach+33329.TRS0&_nkw=coach+33329&_sacat=0
Buyers like Christina S are a sellers WORST NIGHTMARE. Amazon {and to some degree, eBay as well} will do ANYTHING to keep buyers happy, including but not limited to refunding the buyer out of the sellers money, banning the sale of the item in question and suspending the seller from the site. The system is so severely flawed in that an uneducated buyer is able to lodge a complaint out of ignorance and completely DESTROY the business of a reputable seller.

I'm willing to bet a significant sum on the fact that Ms. Christina S has taken ZERO steps to return the bag nor will she.

As much as I'd like to believe that people are honest, it gets harder to believe every year.

And in some ways the internet and social media have made it worse. Everyone's a Special Snowflake, any bozo can becoame an "expert" by reading a few "guides" and convince herself of the fact by writing yet another guide that's copied the same BS she read in the first ones and then adding another steaming pile of dog shyte out of her own miserably inadequate brain cells.

I hope there's a special place in He11 for the writers of all those bogus Guides. I want them all to be tightly wrapped in yards of shiny gold mini-C lining and thrown into a boiling lake of molten vinyl formed by thousands of semi-melted counterfeit Foach bags as toxic vapors from the lead and arsenic in the fakes bubbles up from the surface. Demons on the shore will be forcing them by means of well-placed pitchfork stabs to sew even more fake Coaches - but they have to do it while matching up all the seams and not cutting through any of the Cs. All this while the surface of the lake seethes with venomous snakes whose scales are in the colors and pattern of a zipper and whose tongues say "YKK" in flaming letters.

And on the shore will be every seller who's ever had a genuine Coach item pulled because of what one of those morons wrote in their stinking Guides, but comfortably dressed in air-conditioned HAZMAT suits and breathing apparatus as they constantly throw more YKK snakes into the simmering stinking glop.

Gives you a nice warm feeling just THINKING about it, doesn't it? :D

Thank you so much. This is now at the top of my "to do" list. I started with Coach because there is an outlet store near me. All other upscale store, not outlet, are about 75 miles away or more.
