Wow, what an unholy MESS.

I've never seen the keyfob or the box before. It can't be much older than 1990 since it seems that's when Coach first started using the outlet stamps, and I've checked a bunch of catalogs and not found anything like it.

The design actually looks more like the strap or handle mountings on more recent bags like the Madisons with all those extra non-functioning D-rings but newer keyfobs would have a different key ring. The logo's font is the older "fat" style, and the stitching and leather cutting is really bad. Nothing looks right about it, even the outlet mark is stamped too sharply, and none of the details seem to make a coherent whole for any one specific time period, they all seem to be from different eras.

I'll check a few more catalogs but something that odd would have caught my eye long ago. The stampings seem to just be screaming "Fake" especially the double-line rings on the outlet stamp.

What about the Sunnies Case the seller also has listed? Are there enough photos to authenticate?

The sunnies case looks okay.

Part II: The Vintage Madisons
Hyacinth was correct that the bottom of the Biltmore is damaged. It looks the worst when looking at the bottom directly. They were both packed by people that obviously did not care about what they were doing, and the Gracie got the worst of it. The straps were left attached to both bags, and the straps were haphazardly stuffed into the dustbags for shipping.
The Gracie strap may be permanently damaged slightly, as this treatment cracked the edge paint.
Here are photos of damage, hardware, and creeds. Please let me know if any other photos are necessary. Thank you!

That's CRIMINAL.

All I can say is Let 'em have it with both barrels when you leave Feedback. But contact them first and include the photos of the shipping damage and that you WILL be leaving "appropriate Feedback", just so they don't give the usual spiel about "Buyer never contacted us, we would have made things right... " blah blah blah.

I know I would definitely be p1ssed if I was the buyer, and a p1ssed-off Hyacinth is NOT a pleasant thing to experience.

AND DING THEIR STARS TO THE MAX! (Assuming Ebay lets you.)

Caveat: Be careful that your message doesn't imply feedback extortion. Don't threaten to leave negative feedback unless you get a partial or something similar. You cannot ask for something not included in the listing in exchange for not negging.
Follow up:
I contacted libertystore concerning my disappointment with the condition of the vintage Madisons, and the shipping overcharges. I did not mention feedback; I was afraid any mention of feedback could be taken as extortion. They offered me either a 15% partial refund on the vintage Madisons, or to return them for a full refund. The Madison Biltmores and Gracie in my collection prior to my purchase from libertystore are pristine (one literally nwt). 15% off would not have made the two I purchased from them undamaged like my others, so I returned them for a refund. They did not address the shipping over charge of one of the gathered Madisons, but the refund amount for the vintage Madisons covered the remaining shipping over charge.
The good news is they were easy to get a refund from, and did not object to a return for not as described at all. That is actually a little scary, come to think of it. I am happy with the gathered Madisons.
The bad news was this was a huge pita. I had to beg for days for combined shipping and almost got a NPB ding. The bags I was hoping to proudly add to my collection were badly damaged and not as described in their listings. I had to spend my time and resources to package the damaged bags and ship them back.
I have not left any feedback. I am open to suggestions.

I generally don't advocate dinging sellers' feedback and DSRs because it can do way more damage financially (to the seller) than just warning other buyers but In this case, the best I'd do for the seller is neutral feedback, a huge ding on the "as described" star, a ding on the shipping cost star and a comment about the condition.

Depending on how annoyed you are, you might want to consider negative feedback but since neutral and neg count equally against the seller, I (personally) don't think neg is warranted.

But the star ratings should be low enough to teach the seller that it's important to be honest with buyers.

Please wait for more suggestions since I'm probably a bit more ruthless than some of my fellow posters when it comes to leaving Feedback for the kinds of problems you went through.

I would leave a Neutral and say (I'm not counting to be sure this is less than 80 characters, BTW) " In worse condition than described + damaged in packing, seller refunded, WONT buy again " - don't waste any of those 80 spaces on too much punctuation like commas or apostrophes unless they're necessary.

I agree with BeenBurned on the star-dinging.

Sorry you had such a disappointing experience.

I did it! I jumped the gun again. Found this today and loved it. Is it authentic? Replacement hangtag? Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you in advance!

Genuine Bridle Top Handle from 1998. Those styles - at least the one I had - came with metal hangtags.

Than, you, ladies. I was thinking of leaving neutrals and dinging their stars, but I like confirmation.

Hopefully, future buyers will search this thread for libertystore, and come across my saga, and be careful. I'm glad it's over. Thanks again for all your advice!

All three are genuine.

The shininess of the second one could be a problem, you never know what kind of product has been used to "condition" it. This one isn't as bad as many I've seen so it's probably not shoe polish.

Older Coach leathers are supposed to have a PATINA, not a shine. Some sellers don't know the difference and think that the shinier, the better. And that just isn't true.

Thank you Hyacinth!
